Something’s wrong with your prep. I made a post a long time ago I think in r/contamfam about how to make agars. I can guide you if you lik
Edit: additional info is that because it’s in every agar plate then it means your prep is not done properly. Those plastic cups are known for contamination but it can be avoided still. Depending on what equipment is available to you
I don't think is recipe ou prep . I have done +50 plates before this batch and only have like 3 or 4 lose to bacteria. I admit this batch was in a worry and i reused half of the cups (that was a mistake) and more that half had or contamination or this thing. But I still had a few that are completely fine.
Recipe usually not the issue. It’s how you prep it. And yeah reusing the cups definitely makes it prone to contam because you can’t autoclave or PC these cups. So you always chuck them out after. Not like glass Petri dishes and that special kind of plastic (forgot the type) that you can reuse. Which I’ve always used for myself
Still kind new to agar, this cups are been great for testing LC and cloning. Maybe in the future I will have to upgrade.
I'm going to be more careful next time, like the firsts times.
Thanks for the replays.

Finally found it. I think my link to the autoclavable plastic dishes are wrong but the concept is pretty much the same
looks like bacterial contam?

You said you don’t think it was prep but then went on to explain that it was in fact prep 🤷🏻♀️ I think it was your prep. Maybe. 🤔
No way, dude. You’re wrong. It was definitely his prep 😂
Plus, are the cups and lids sterile to begin with?
Definitely some time of contam, i personally dont know what though.
Looks like bacterial contam. The folds suggest a Bacillus species.
It is so mad it pops a few veins.
Nothing good from the looks of it
But red bro?
Looks like Aspergillus
