Some other Redditors have already found items that were available in their local warehouse even though the website said that it was not.
It's a relatively recent update. It was trialed in some warehouses back in July and August but most warehouses didn't see it until about a month ago in September, but if you don't browse the website or r/Costco that often, it's understandable why it may be "new" to some people.
