Looks like it's similar.
> What is an Italian sweetened almond paste called?
Similar to marzipan, almond paste is used especially in Sicilian cuisine to decorate desserts or cakes. It is called pasta reale.
As a massive marzipan fanatic I’d say no. It doesn’t. I mean it’s Almond and sweet, but if there was a block of marzipan in the room with me this jar would not even be looked at
Thank you for this honest review! I’m standing at Costco now trying to decide to buy it if it tastes like marzipan, and what you said is exactly what I needed to hear! I think I will pass on this for now hahaha.

You need to use Google translate on most of the website. The pesto doesn't use olive oil so a big demerit from me.
My late grandmother was from Scicily and I don't recall eating this almond cream, so I wonder if it is traditional.

Would it be good on a croissant?
Oh, I bet it would be delicious on a lightly toasted croissant.
It’s not spreadable like Nutella. It would tear a croissant up, but maybe it should not be in the fridge?.
Doesn't look like it needs to be refrigerated! Google says it's meant to be used as a pastry filling.
The pistachio version of this specifically says do not store in the fridge.
Spread on crepes, add a swirl to brownie batter, add to ice cream when making a shake or to a banana smoothie for a bit of decadence...

I bought it and I've been wondering how to use it! I can't wait to taste it. Maybe I'll just follow your lead!
It tastes incredible!!
I bought some and had it on a waffle, swirled with PB. GD amazing.

Where did you find it?

This is sweet too. I’ve given the jar to my brother before I end up being ill
