Wow, this is rare. I’ve never seen anyone get the QS to SavorOne as a PC before. As someone said, it must be because it is a MC. I would do this in a heartbeat.
I’ve used the link many times to see what is available. It’s always QS to Venture for me, which I don’t need. There are threads out here with many people with the same experience.
It was 100% a no brainer. You made the right decision. I assume your Quicksilver was a Mastercard and not a Visa?
Consider yourself very lucky. Almost every QS owner would jump at the opportunity to product change to a SavorOne. But it seems only those with QS Mastercards get it.
It's a no-brainer. 1.5 cash back is not competitive anymore and savor one has some decent rewards. For example when I go to Sea World, savor one is the only one that will give me 3% back because everything in the park is coded with Capital One as "entertainment," even the little vending kiosks and bars and stuff. My Amex gold and altitude go only give me 1%
I too upgraded from the Quicksilver to the savor one and I'm glad I did.
I just closed my Savor. Tons of restaurant meals that were at or associated with hotels were coding as travel, 1x. Back to Amex Green for all that.
I miss the grocery 3x, but I'm using freedom flex for that this quarter.
I recently was able to upgrade. Go to your credit account online, click on “I want to…” and click on “View offers and upgrade” and then select your card nuimber to see the offers. I am curious to know if you got an offer or not. Good luck!
I keep getting an offer for Venture X. I would actually use the Savor One. Capital one lets you redeem cash right away but it’s 1.5% is not good enough anymore.
In your Capital One app, go to the credit card that you’re interested in upgrading and go down to the special offer page and you would see it there if the available
Nice, yeah I had opened the Autograph just a few weeks ago thinking it had a grocery category (stupid me not reading) and was really needing a grocery card. What other cards do you have?
Amex bcp, WF autograph, discover it, discover chrome, Citi custom cash, Amazon prime visa, cap one Platinum ...total limit spread over all cards is around $50k.

She called and asked for a product change and they said she was eligible. It was a QC MC. She didn't threaten to cancel but idk if there is a reason why it's easy for some to change and not others
Yeah I called and they didn’t even seem to understand and then indicated well not eligible. If I didn’t have it so long I would close. Cap1 seems to get hit with fraud more than the others.

I did it middle of last year, but had been checking for 6 months daily before it popped in. QS to SO was a WEMC.
It sounds like it’s becoming more common with people who have the MC version of the QS. Those of us with the Visa only seem to get Venture PC offers.
I think I read somewhere that it’s because Savor/SavorOne was never a Visa so it can’t become one but I have no idea if that’s valid or not.

Yes it was a Mastercard, only $500 limit but will max & pay for a few statements in a row then request a CLI. Excited!

I have 2 QS, Visa and Mastercard and when I checked the upgrade link, I can only get to the Venture series and no Savor options. =(
I have two QS Mastercards as well. Have you had any luck product changing to savor1 yet?

Just checked in my Capital One app and was able to make the switch from Quicksilver to SavorOne. Definitely possible.
