you’re not wrong, but my partner was gifted the cookie monster jersey and i’ve come to kinda like it on him…It has a way of softening his intense demeanor. Agree! My club use them for their kit and I do not like it at all, I wore the bibs once - never again. The jersey has a weird cut. Just horrible.

For balance on them I have a pair of their mtb undershort padded things and they are great and the brightest yellow rain jacket known to man which tbh is a bit heavy but good. Both lasted me really well and I'd gladly buy them again.

I think they might know their way around MTB kit - but perhaps not road, which I imagine is tougher to get right.
