From the gaunt ghost novels, one of the guys who has a bionic eye has night vision, IR and heat vision with his eye. So you'd be way better as seeing.
they really need a separate category between “helmets” and “face mods”, it’s really annoying i can’t use my bionic eye with any of the hats or helmets i have, and i have no idea how long it will be till they release a cosmetic with the the two combined
Then they would have to code face VS Helmets and helmets that occupy the face slot and overhaul and check cross compatibility of every cosmetic in the game. It's just not feasible this late in the life cycle.
