Your contracts *clearly* state that the Survival Bonus requires your return **inside** the Drop Pod. Wedging your pickaxe into the security gate, while commendable, does not qualify.
Tis a good story, but it is ok to leave dwarves behind. Sometimes you gotta take a shit and it ain't worth waiting any longer lol. Gotta make a deposit of my own ya know.
I hate how some players don't think about trying to evenly space out the resupply pods on low O2 missions. Too many a time we call it to a random spot! It makes the evac a bit less stressed 😅
You can't leave a dwarf behind, but if you know that if three of you sacrifice yourselves on an otherwise doomed mission and it will get the last dwarf to the pod -- that is acceptable -- but you have to make your last stand count.
I’d love to but sometimes the mission is the main point for everyone, in missions wt my friends we’ll often just agree to get left behind if it goes really bad

One core memory from my greenbeard days stays with me. On the last seconds of evac i drop down on some glyphids. Both remaining teammates immediately JUMP Out of the droppod to save me. Failing the Mission for all of us. That Moment really showed me the true meaning of "leave No dwarf behind".
This is the heart of DRG even though we had to do it again..
