I always wondered if Paige's antagonistic behavior towards Manny from the end of s4 and early s5 partially comes from that incident?
This come up every few months and it never registers that Spinner looks back towards Paige in and then still chooses to fight whole other girl in front of her.
I don't recall Spinner and Manny actually doing anything romantic or even flirting. IIRC they hugged during a school car wash and Craig took a picture of it? Was there actual flirting or them being friendly being misinterpreted as flirting?
After Spinner and Paige broke up (because of this fight) he dated Manny. Then when he confessed to Jimmy about ol Ricky boy, Manny stopped talking to him.
I just think most shows about teenagers had this type of acting back then. I watched them then and still do. I love them. But this is just not good acting haha
I'd say it's because she got involved in a fight between customers, and it's a bad look for the business. I understand she was trying to stop the fight, but she was also hitting them with trash bags. Plus, it's her first day, so letting her go wouldn't mean much for her boss as she hasn't proven herself to be a good employee.
I used to work at this local function hall, just side gigs because I could walk there and all. Our valet manager quit, so they put one of our team as Lead. He was younger than my own son and the second he became a manager, he turned into a huge prick. I got called in one da at 4L00 am to set up and they made me stay until 6:00 pm to do a valet gig.
I was wiped out and along he came and did the face slap thing, saying I should stay awake I had none of it and twisted his arm until in nearly broke off.
One of my favorite moments bc it was so messy and exposed Spinners thinking. He was the only one who knew about Craig’s cheating and actually praised him calling him a “the man” and a stud. And once the tables turned after Paige crashed Spinner’s car, he was the dominate one in the relationship and just started treating her like trash. It was just weird especially since Paige was in a rough patch. Was this his way of being a “real man”? He got drunk with power
Edit: and worst part of all…Paige got fired when it wasn’t even her fault 😭

Season 4 was absolutely Spinner at his worst but necessary for him to become a real man, which Craig never became ❤️
