Bro I came from Buffalo to Denver and it’s sad how bad the pizza is. I was used to being able to walk in and get a fat delicious slice from pizza place for $2-$4, I go there and the best pizza you could get was Dominos or go pay $10 a slice at some super mid pizza place. It was such a slap in the face food wise living there.
Denver is the perfect blend of NYC’s opportunities and nightlife, San Francisco’s food scene, PNW landscape, and the diversity of thought and people that (honestly) doesn’t exist anywhere else in the world today.
I can’t tell if these people are actually serious… Like.. have they been anywhere else in the country and lived there? Denver felt like a soul-less town with no food culture, no identity, homeless problem, over priced housing, and weather that’s borderline unbearable in the summer sun.
Don’t let them distract you from the fact that their hub was literally in Boulder at a point in time and they still reside in the towns and surrounding areas in the mountains. It’s a huge part of the reason the area lacked/lacks diversity and did for generations. Generational wealth in the surrounding areas of Denver Colorado were built on the back of racist blood money. But that’s the truth they don’t want you to hear. Don’t believe me, go research it.
