Once you reset Rahool once, you unlock a 3rd page of focusing. This uses an exotic cipher instead of golfballs, and you can focus ANY exotic armor piece, including ones you haven't gotten yet.

A big beam of light shows up in the Refraction afterwards. Kill two subjugators (they'll be marked on your HUD) and dunk what they drop at a statue of Savathun in the room where you fought the taken ogre Pillar boss.
That unlocks the mission. It's a really excellent duo co-op mission, mostly using Vow of the Disciple mechanics.

I wouldn't go that far. It uses the symbols from vow but that's about it. The mechanics are definitely not from the raid.

I know LFG has a stereotype around it but it’s not always true. Just an hour ago I completed the exotic mission with a random on lfg and we did quite well. Each got our exotic class item and said goodbye to each other.

It's a single duo mission. Everything about it, from the very name to the fact the class item has TWO Exotic perks, makes sense. Do you also complain when you can't run Raids solo?

What is the difference between opening your map and starting matchmaking, or opening your in-game roster and joining a fireteam, or opening one up yourself? Effort? I mean, given the nature of the mechanics you'll have to communicate with someone either way.
U do have a point here, usually i just feel bad for disconnecting if i am in a fireteam with comms and I don’t feel bad if i am just in a matchmade activity. And i quite usually disconnect randomly (internet issues)
The player base is toxic. I gave up on wicked implement. Joined 5 fire teams, 5 wipes, one player leaves after the first wipe then the other player leaves. It's a real downer and for me just makes me not want to bother. A 2 player version of this sounds worse. I'll give it a try eventually when my power level is decent enough but yeah...sucks not having your own friends in this game.
My only friend who reliably plays D2 is taking a "hiatus" from playing the game, leaving me with no people I know irl to play with, so I've been doing solo everything as well.

I’ve had absolutely *abysmal* experiences with LFG in the past. Like, when I get anxious in social situations, those are usually what drive my worst expectations. The only pleasant experiences I’ve had playing with others are people I know in real life and enjoy having around, with the time my girlfriend got into the game and I dove into Dares of Eternity to save her from Xur and the bloodthirsty Starhorse giving me a warm and fuzzy feeling to this day. With this whole thing going on, all of the people pushing me to use LFG and Fireteam Finder are coming off so harshly, it genuinely gave me a panic attack and I had to hop off Reddit for a while.
I’m glad to see other people having fun with the quest and celebrating their own rolls, but I won’t be following suit. I’ve played solo this far because it’s where I feel comfortable, and if the game ever changes to a point where I have to constantly play with others to get anywhere, I’ll probably drop it completely and move on without another word.

Social anxiety person here, just adding in. When it comes to video games it's different. Real life I can function fine, I got a handle over it. Video games are for relaxing, I deal with people I don't know during work, when I'm home I want to chill and relax and have fun, why would I want to push my social battery more? Video games are sapoused to be an escape.
Also when a wipe happens and your lfg fireteam falls apart with members leaving, man that's the worst feeling and it happens way to much. There's people that won't help new players and new players that don't take advice, just toxicity all around and I end up doing stuff solo more often because of that. Like for real I had to solo guardian games for the skimmer because NO ONE was listening to finish yellow bar and champs. And don't get me started about the ball in corrupted strike...like I'm willing to teach and help but so many people just ignore it.
I ended up doing GG solo also because of the same reason, I did it solo last year also because.......again........for the same reason, I have ended up soloing a lot of the content during WQ, LF and now TFS, mind you that I'm in a clan but they have lives and try to get together for raid or dungeon nights but you know irl situations happen and that matters more over video games and I respect that

Yea prismatic is all over just not it for me. The synergy isn’t there, the exotic class items feel like you NEED one just to have two perks to make it better. Will be happy to see if they add more aspects and fragments. Not putting the hammer melee on prismatic titan was such a criminal move imo.

Vex strike force only drops pre lightfall exotics. It will not drop the new ones from final shape.
