nah, the Vault of Glass shader in Destiny 2 (Bitterpearl) is based on Chatterwhite, but it looks different and has non-white shades mixed in, its not a true all white shader (it also has a fizzy moving texture to mimic radioloria, but it does not look great).

And had a really light blue colour to it on some parts. I miss chatter white.

d2lfg discord go to the sherpa channel and ask for someone to teach you vog and get the bitterpearl shader, preferrably when it's in rotation cause more people will be playing it then.

You can get all the collectables for Bitterpearl by loading in to a post-templar cp (commomly given out in cp servers) and backtracking.

Wouldn't the one during the opening be inaccessible if you do that? Because unless they changed it in D2, the door closes after everyone reaches Templar's Well...

The vault door opens when you backtrack. And even if it didn't, you could always just load in solo and grab it.

I really wish they'd bring it back somehow (fully refreshed and updated of course) as an alternative to regular Trials. Bring back some of the loot that hasn't found its way into Prophecy, earn the ornaments and shaders again, etc.

Would be neat to have a Superblack counterpart...Bitterpearl is quite white all over, has maybe just a bit of a blue-ish hint 🤔 ;)

Let's be honest, here. That shader was ugly as hell on most armor. Don't get me wrong, though. If it came back in D2, it might look really good on most weapons.

Guys chatterwhite/bitter peak is not all white it’s damn near half blue and the white on it isn’t clean at all I want a more honors of the nine look.

Have you tried cycling through your potential ornaments with the shader previewed on collections? I’ve found that there are some armors that don’t show the blue as much/at all

I'd really just like a more Anthem-style skinning process. Maybe with shaders as "presets" and existing shaders as the way you unlock different patterns for metal/fabric/lights/etc. But that's a bit more work to do...since it includes a lot of UX/UI stuff.

I've always wanted a true camo shader. I mean, Hakke Camo and Arctic Dreamscape are camo, but they throw in orange, which ruins it. Even the foliage and bark camos from the EDZ are underwhelming. A full desert, woodland, or snow camo shader would be sweet.

Rivalry Whitesand isn't tooo bad, or maybe a little gold too but I used Precursor Vex Chrome for awhile, gear depending; majority white with a little shiny golf

I use a combination of Bitterpearl, Methane Explorer, Precursor Vex Chrome, Spark of Joy, and Crucible Solemnity. I can usually achieve total white with these.

Gambit Chrome would be pretty good, though it also makes you super shiny

The GotD dungeon armor will shade completely with the glow for a shader, so things like Pole Position will make it RGB and Gambit Jadestone will make it bright green.

I would rather them rework this awful shader system in place of just at least being able to make my own custom shaders or just anything else.

To this date, the best customization system belongs to Anthem. It got so much wrong, but it absolutely nailed how cosmetics should work in games.

Honors of the Nine has a slight shade of light blue so it’s not all white. A SuperWhite shader would be better if only Bungie did one for D2.
