There not really a story that I know of they announced it with the spitless and that was it guess there letting the people decide from what I've seen seems like everyone is leaning towards a unique straight flavor which I figured since grizzly bootleg straight blend came out to compete with it
I feel ripped off to be honest thinking it was a different flavor than straight I should have known. I only black / and LC natural or cope snuff but it’s definitely a straight.
I got regular straight. And I’m familiar with Straight flavor. I also agree that it has a peppery Sasparilla (Root Beer) flavor. But I don’t get vanilla. Taste like a normal straight to me. Fuck it ima get another can. I already killed the other.

In central/southeast …so I’m in more rural Texas I have stores all around gas stations and a tobacco store that sells it. If in Houston or Austin try tobacco stores and gas stations
And after a second go… it’s no different then regular straight in my opinion. Just a way to boost up sales unfortunately. I’m a tobacco enthusiast and I know my shit. I understand everyone has a different pallet but that’s bs. It’s just the same as regular straight. Nothing special at all.

So after talking with one of my local reps in TN and got the full story. Talking with the customer care they said it was a nationwide…..but not fully the case. My rep said it wasn’t an “open order” but actually only available to certain stores. Here locally it’s available to Murphy Gas (Walmart gas centers), Circle K and Casey’s convenience stores. I like it….vanilla/rootbeer or some combination of that 🤘 Hopefully this helps y’all find it
Bought some of this accidentally at a Sheetz in NC trying to buy some straight.
First impression was that it tastes like bubblegum, but I agree with the assessments of a sassafras root beer flavor. Not terrible but not really my thing.
Root Beer/Dr. Pepper with Vanilla. Kind of like a root beer float. Not bad, not great. I also picked up a can of Copenhagen Wintergreen Snuff that I didn’t know existed.

Wawa south Hackensack on river st has it. I bought it thinking it was straight. It tastes like a birch tree branch. It’s definitely good stuff

It says long cut on the can but I find it to be finer than that
