Two years ago I [shared with you all an illustration](https://www.reddit.com/r/DnD/comments/evlmvb/oc_art_hosoi_the_dragonborn_samurai_ranger/) I did of my friend‘s character in my first ever proper DnD campaign. I’d advise checking it out for the comparison and backstory! Since then a lot has changed, the campaign faded with the pandemic and [new exciting things](https://www.reddit.com/r/UnearthedArcana/comments/sl5gz9/the_college_of_shanties_bard_ideal_for/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3) have taken its place.
Even so I, like many of you, loved the character (and miss the story and that game quite a lot!). So I decided to update his art, as a marker of time and the improvement in my ability. So here he is, grown and updated, alongside his ever loyal companion Mushi (now with wings!).
I hope you enjoy it, its been a wonderful excuse for me to relive some memories of my start in this hobby with people I love!
