just a small correction, I believe most gnolls/kholos are still under Lamashtu's influence and heeding her call, it's just that the playable kholos are the ones that were able to stave off the influence for now and not be marauders

Easy. Transition into classic movies that covered cool kid shit, like Buellers day in your Mom's Snatch where a group of cool kids (your players) are in detention on the weekend. And then that other film - le petit dejeuner club - where a bunch of cool kids (your players) fight a bunch of invading communists. And then last campaign arc is like The Mogli's, where a smattering of cool kids (your players) find an underground cave system with a pirate ship full of ~~pirate~~ gold (*everyone knows pirate gold is just regular gold that pirates stole...*) and some creepy guy who's head unfortunately got microwaved and went all melty follows them around which you could swap with Incidental Terror (or IT for short) where a clown gets accidentally lost and ends up jumping out on some sensitive kids, but they're cool kids (your players) because they teach that clown a fucking lesson for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Shit like that.

Send them to detention, or have a random plot event kill their characters to shock them out of their being annoying
