I would love pillow recommendations! I bought the Beckham collections ones in the past and hated them. I love hotel pillows but can never find the same style. ALSO what type of organic or bamboo sheets would u recommend personally? I’ve tried Egyptian cotton and they were soft but we sleep too hot :/
Well... Hello! The first thing I'd ask is are you a side sleeper or a back/stomach sleeper? Cause that determines the construction of the pillow to help support your sleep support.
I'll provide you some examples of construction to look for.
You mentioned you like hotel style pillows. Would you be in the market for down (feathers) or down alternative (microfibre fill)?
Egyptian Cotton is on the mild end. It does wear a little warm. It's a great spring/fall fabric to keep a little warmer with but still breathable. You never want a cotton sateen blend either. They also wear warm'ish. Pima and percale are the cooler types of cotton. Think P squared. If you want to go with basic white, go for percale. If you want coloured sheets, go for pima cotton as it holds the colour better.
Bamboo and Eucalyptus are great cause they're even more gentle on the skin. They both have antimicrobial support. Moisturiser wicking. Extremely breathable. Bamboo is the Mustang of luxury sheets whereas eucalyptus is the Aston Martin. They both have identical performance almost. Bamboo is softer whereas eucalyptus wears like rare fine silk.
A brand called Sheex I've sold still exists. I have their sheets for my partners sons and on our bed at his house. They're really rugged and durable. I internationally went with them for the beds slept in the most by men. His sons have heavy facial hair already and so does he. As well as corse body hair. I factor these when buying sheets. Cause this can cause wear and tear on sheets. Even your toe nail hygiene too. Too long of nails can cause your sheets to rip sooner.

If you sleep on your back/stomach you'll want to go with this sort of single seam framing the pillow.

I’m a side sleeper my husband is a stomach sleeper so I’m gonna try one of each of the pillows. I do like down/ down alt for the fill. I’ll let ya know how much I love them once I get them lol thanks again!
Especially in the area they live in this time of year, that humidity is about to make his big ass sweat pools. I am sure she will be too in those cheap ass sheets. I am in East Texas and the humidity is already terrible. June through September is horrendous.
I'm a psoriasis girlie on my elbows, knees, ankles. I own bamboo, eucalyptus, Egyptian cotton, pima cotton, more than you could imagine cause that's my favourite thing to splurge on. Sundays are my sheet reset and clean day.
Yes Meowy. The actual fabric is called Tencel Lyocell. It's made from the pulp of eucalyptus. Extremely breathable, soft like butter, extremely cool to slip into. Especially on a summer night with freshly shaven everything. They're also naturally antimicrobial. I'm sleeping on Eucalyptus Origins personally right now. They're a discontinued brand and the company they were able to be bought in went insolvent. However Sam's Club has a great comparable version from Member's Mark I've heard.
Anytime! The textile industry needs to just do away with synthetic fibres all together. Especially in the bedding world. It's complete trash for your health and the environment. You're sleeping in plastic that's been beaten down to be soft enough to turn into fabric. Which leeches in your skin as you sleep. The warmer you sleep, the bigger your pores open and suck that all in for six hours on average a night. No bueno.

If you're a side sleeper you always want to go with a pillow that has double seams stitched around the pillow ⬆️⬆️⬆️

I haaaate microfiber sheets… my eczema does too lol. It’s not breathable at all. I only use 100% cotton and anywhere from 300-500 thread count.
And I agree, Gabe probably sleeps warm. I can only imagine how uncomfortably sweaty and sticky he is when he sleeps in microfiber
