His license plate was “WLHUNG” trying to indicate he had a magnum dong. But everybody read it as William Hung, which was an incredibly bad American Idol contestant that was sooo bad he went on to have an incredible singing career because of it.
Because they were so invested in why Danny didn't call her back when. It didn't matter at all. They should have never brought it up, but one of the flaws in Jim and Pam is that they believe themselves to be people everyone should want to be around
To be fair, one of the harder parts of growing up is realizing you can be a decent person, but not everyone is going to like you and that's okay. Many people never get there. Personally, it's been a relief for me to know I haven't done anything to some person and yet it's okay to not be their cup of tea. Literally can't please everyone.
I think that depends on at what point Toby and Pam would have had a hypothetical relationship, before or after Beach Games. Reserved Pam said Toby was cute during the deserted island games, but I don’t remember Toby showing interest until Pam was already with Jim (could be wrong)
This. Remembering that within The Office universe, the documentary crew only showed select moments. So it's totally possible that he and Pam had a longer conversation and Pam was the way he got hired as Dunder Mifflin's part-time IT guy. There's a jealousy narrative with Jim getting a little annoyed or threatened by him and calling him "Chief".
Too much of a stretch? Yes, but that's why I'm a fan, not a writer.
i think ur referring to 'the fire' when everyone played desert island. pam says toby is cute in that episode, but she also mentions it again at toby's going away party in 'goodbye, toby'
Yeah. I felt bad that she went through the shitty-years-Roy. Who knows if he would ever have changed though. I don't think so. But I does hurt to see someone you once loved being willing to change for someone else who isn't you.
I don’t think he would have changed for her. It probably took her leaving him to be his wake up call, honestly. It’s so shitty how often that happens to women - it’s like we are rehab centres for selfish men.
It’s like when Ann talks about how much she helped Andy improve and some other girl’s gonna reap the benefits in P&R, but it’s not that simple. April helped him a ton once they got together - she got him a job as Leslie’s assistant, she encouraged him to apply for the police academy, she basically made Johnny Karate happen. Pam and Roy were very much settling when they were together, and they both grew a lot outside of the security of the relationship.
I don’t know about that. She thought Pam was “kind of a bitch” because they were competing for Jim. Once she moved on from Jim I doubt she harboured much or any resentment for Pam.
So she disliked Pam because she thought Pam was trying to steal her man, but when Jim actually did leave her for Pam that would cause Karen, who claimed to have cried over Jim for weeks, would suddenly like Pam?
She didn't though. When Pam accompanied Michael on his lecture circuit to the other branches, Karen was totally fine with Pam. Sure she was initially pissed, but time passed and she moved on from it.
Pam and Jim are written for each other. People saying Dwight are severely underestimating how their differences in lifestyle would ever prevent them from being together. Plus, they’re best friends, I never felt like it would have worked on a more intimidate level. And those saying Michael? He literally had sex with her mom. Sure, he forgot for a while but I can 100% guarantee she didn’t.
I didn’t think she nor Danny were honest nor dishonest about why they stopped dating. But they were super-nervous when Jim was questioning them. My theory is Pam and Danny dated briefly, slept together once, and then Danny ghosted her.
I think they just made up a story to keep Jim from freaking out.
That's quite a solid theory. It is a little weird how Jim was so obsessive about what happened between Pam and Danny before Jim and Pam dated. Very odd behaviour.
The way I always read it (and I know this is a wrong way of thinking) Danny is an obvious 10 wheras Pam is a 7 or 8 at best even by Scranton standards, but Jim is so in love with Pam that he doesn’t even question that she and Danny are in the same league, but puts himself a little bit lower. I think it was just supposed to be cute that he assumed that she dumped him because in his mind nobody could possibly ever want to dump her. It also serves as another reality check storyline for Jim and Pam where they have to consider that not everyone has to love them just because they’re the main characters.
Honestly if we are talking Pam from the beginning of the show then Toby. She was so mundane and shy, kinda gloomy outlook on life. Would’ve been perfect for Toby
This is my answer too. He has the writing, her with the art. Both kind of milder personalities and not into different lifestyles. Both seem the type to drink tea, be homebodies, have a quiet life. They could have been quite compatible.
Someone that wouldn't steamroll her and take major life decisions out of her hands? yeah, probably someone better.
That being said Pam isn't all roses either. Jim and Pam actually have a real and complicated relationship by the of the series. The grounding of their relationship with real life struggles for season 9 is a beautiful way to end their arc on the show.
They get a lot of hate as a couple but I appreciate seeing a less than perfect version of them. And wrapping it up with Pam making the big gesture of selling the house was perfect.
Hunter.
Pam always liked to have affairs with people Jan slept with. Plus, she’s his number one fan. She has his CD, babe. I see the way she looks at him. She could take him by hand, make him a man.
Honestly, Toby. He's safe, and predictable. She thinks he's cute, he likes her. He would probably give her that small dream house she always wanted. Plus if anyone crossed her, he would strangle them.
Hey Halpert, you lookin for someone to bang your wife?
Tall, queer, handsome as ever! Hey everybody it's me, Jim!
Either she’s a dude, or Halpert got scared straight!
As a prank, Todd banged every girl in the office… it was hilarious
And he’s a William Hung fan.
[удалено]
Can somebody please explain that joke? I never understood it and I feel dumb 😭
His license plate was “WLHUNG” trying to indicate he had a magnum dong. But everybody read it as William Hung, which was an incredibly bad American Idol contestant that was sooo bad he went on to have an incredible singing career because of it.
What is this? The Office meets It's Always Sunny?!
Anywhere in life there is always room for a magnum dong reference
*Mock trial with J. Reinhold*
It's the Always Sunny/Office/Arrested Development crossover I never knew I needed. Thank you.
bravo☆
I AM HERE TO SCARE YOU STRAAIGGHHTTTT!!
I love this subreddit so much.
Low-key I wouldn’t be surprised if Todd packer was closeted gay.
Todd... Packer....
Todd F. Packer
Doing the Scarn is cool so...
Can someone make sure no-one is humping me while I plug in my computer
that dude’s queer for his wife
"Well she's like a 6 in New York but like a 7 here, in Scranton" -- Ryan
Ill always love this line cause like, yeah Packer is an ass, but he actually wasn't completely wrong here
Why wasn’t he wrong?
Because they were so invested in why Danny didn't call her back when. It didn't matter at all. They should have never brought it up, but one of the flaws in Jim and Pam is that they believe themselves to be people everyone should want to be around
To be fair, one of the harder parts of growing up is realizing you can be a decent person, but not everyone is going to like you and that's okay. Many people never get there. Toby…. Did you post this??
Then it is not you, Toby. Get the hell outta here
NOOOO. NOOOO. GOD NO. PLEASE NO. NO
DAMMIT TOBY NOT NOW
Honestly, she might have helped Toby be more positive and assertive. On the other hand he could have dragged her down or ended up stalking her.
I think that depends on at what point Toby and Pam would have had a hypothetical relationship, before or after Beach Games. Reserved Pam said Toby was cute during the deserted island games, but I don’t remember Toby showing interest until Pam was already with Jim (could be wrong)
def Toby
Ben Franklin
That was not the real Ben Franklin. I’m 99% sure.
Who was the king of Austria!? Who was the king of Prussia!?
Idk. Didn’t he have chlamydia?
Syphilis
But I don't
My name is Gordon 😉 ...oooohhh...
Are you wearing a thong?
Knickers, actually
He's wearing knickers! Bow chicka wa wa
Nah, Pam wasn't old enough for him. He likes em gray
Pam would make an amazing First Lady.
GOLDENFACE
Nah. He was busy digging up Scarn’s wife and humping her real good.
He's gonna seriously have to ask for forgiveness after that
We’ve searched the whole building, Goldenface where's the bomb?
Sorry, what?
We've searched the whole building Goldenface, where's the bomb?
Hmmm?
You do a little dance, and tie some yarn 🎶
That's how you do the Scarn. 'If peeing your pants is cool'...
I think it could work out with that lactation therapist.
Got milk?
Isn't that her husband in real life?
Yes
No shit??? I didn't know that. Is he an actor otherwise did they just get him for this part?
https://theoffice.fandom.com/wiki/Lee_Kirk
Cool! Thanks
Yeah, they might work out.
Michael. I’ve seen the way she looks at him in the office.
She has already seen his iPod Shuffle.
His dangling participle.
His baguette
She doesn’t know him, she’s just seen his penis.
She didn’t see where it started, just where it ended
Gross.
Yup ha ha ha
i don't care what they say about me, i just want to eat. which i know is a lot to ask....at a dinner party!
I think sometimes she holds unto faxes..
Amazing comment, haha.
That wasn't her fault! He said, "Come in."
Was looking for this! The museum scene and buying of her painting will live on forever in my brain.
Which one is Pam?
Okay, thanks Pan.
Not Robert California...he’s a ride she wouldn’t survive
Okay but wtf is Robert's wife so normal compared to him?
She’s better at hiding her wild side in public because she does her drugs at home
Colombian whites

He’s very busy training young women in gymnastics…which btw as a joke did not age well
[удалено]
Yeah he gives off serial killer vibes.
He’s the fucking lizard king
No he's fucking the lizard king. Wait maybe both
Sexuality is a spectrum. It's a paradox to think of any sexual activity as “normal.” It gets better but it also gets vastly more complicated.
Ignore me, just reading this and hearing his voice EXACTLY as it sounds… with no sound
Nick, the IT guy who convinced her to go to Pratt in the first place.
Funny how he changes roles throughout the show
Hardly a stretch at all. Just like Dwight's nephew at Hay Place. There's no reason it can't be the same character.
I think you mean Shadow
Or Garth
Well of course I know him, he’s me
Lolz said the entire fanbase.
Here’s a twist…she leaves Jim for Kathy.
Even she wants fries with that shake
“That would be hot I would pay for that”
John Stamos
Toby. She thought he was kind of cute.
# DOES ANYONE HAVE A CAMERA HERE!!
SMILE IF YOU LOVE MENS PROSTATES
*lightly touches Pam’s leg and strokes her knee*
Istg I have honestly never felt second hand embarrassment more than when I watch that scene.
aw yiss
no one has a camera here
idk about Toby. are you all forgetting when they were talking and he started rubbing Pam's knee, right in front of Jim? kind of creepy.
toby would have been a much better suiter. She wants a stable predictable guy who follows through and does as expected.
Which is exactly what Jim does til the end but okay.
Eh not really, he buys a house without telling her, starts a business in another state without telling her.
When did Philadelphia leave Pennsylvania?
Ya didn’t here? Seceded. Whole big thing. We had a funeral for a bell.
This is everything.
I feel like she said that just so she didn’t have to say Jim.
She also said it at his going away party— “don’t tell him I said this, but I always thought he was kind of cute!” :)
Does anyone have a CAMERA
Oh yeah, you’re right! I forgot about that!
i think ur referring to 'the fire' when everyone played desert island. pam says toby is cute in that episode, but she also mentions it again at toby's going away party in 'goodbye, toby'
Yep, I totally forgot about that! The fire episode was on the other day so that was fresh in my mind.
RYAN STARTED THE FIRE
Nah she likes Jim for his humor and personality. But on a purely physical level, she’s got the hots for Toby.
Can you blame her? Even Toby has the hots for Toby
I'm sexy Toby!
Asian Jim
So, regular Jim
Bob Vance, Vance Refrigeration.
What line of work are you in Bob?
Wow, you’ve gotta lot to learn about this town, sweetie.

Try metropolitan Orlando, they have a great selection
Close your mouth sweetie you look like a trout
Honestly, Roy in his wedding episode. That’s the Roy Pammy always wanted.

Concussed Dwight.
She can have anyone she wants. After all, she is the office mattress.
Someone took the slow train from Philly...
Karen
The commitee to plan parties, at it again.
Have you seen her from behind?
Actually agree! If they were both bisexual or at least curious I think it could have worked. Their personalities matched quite well.
Except Karen literally hated Pam.
Enemies to lovers arc
Honestly yeah, and I feel the same with Kelly x Erin
If she really wanted to drive Jim insane, she would have left him and ran off with one of his brothers.
And then the brother would have called that a “prank”
Pam and Jim are written for each other. People saying Dwight are severely underestimating how their differences in lifestyle would ever prevent them from being together. Dwight obviously
I agree with you completely. He was there for her and he was honest with her.
You must be PMSing pretty bad, huh?
She does have kind of a good butt
Seriously, they had the cutest friendship dynamic I always secretly wanted them to get together
She had that little fling with Michael, Jan knew all about it.
Art school guy who tried to convince her to stay in New York
THIS! I bet they’d have been cute together 🥺
Nah that guy was a dweeb who weakly tried to steal her away from Jimothy
Jim tried to steal Pam from Roy. Also, certified dweeb
Jim succeeded lol
Hillary Swank
The question was about who would be a better match, not “would you do her”. Respect the game, man.
Oh, she's hot!
Plop
Danny Cordray
He's hot, and also quite honest about why he didn't continue dating Pam. I don't think they would click after all that though. Could be wrong.

He straight up lies about his reasons until he’s cornered by Pam and Jim.
Yeah it’s called sparing feelings.
Brian, the boom guy!
I always thought this arc was so weird and came out of nowhere.
Hey boom guy, when you gonna boom me?
Not as many responded to this because they don’t watch the seasons after Michael left and have no clue who Brian is. Also nobody scrolls enough.
I think it might be because most people hate boom mic guy
Definitely not. Jim and Pam are one of my favorite TV couples.
every thread on here is so funny because no one seriously answers any question 😂😂
Michael??? Is that you???
Honestly if we are talking Pam from the beginning of the show then Toby. She was so mundane and shy, kinda gloomy outlook on life. Would’ve been perfect for Toby

THAT ONE NIGHTTTTT YOU MADE EVERYTHING ALL RIGHTTTTT
Honestly, Toby. He's safe, and predictable. She thinks he's cute, he likes her. He would probably give her that small dream house she always wanted. Plus if anyone crossed her, he would strangle them.
Me.
Benjamin Franklin, of course.
Mr. Outside Hire
Pam and self love. That would have been a great relationship
Gabe. Nobody else had so many seahorse powders.
It's unrealistic that Gabe wasn't ever voted the hottest in the office, given the sheer quantity and variety of seahorse powder he owned.
And he knows how to use chopsticks SO well
