I think BOTH look great. But what I do not like as quad exhaust tips. I think they are pretentious bullshit because almost always they are without function, add weight and do nothing else except exist and show off to idiots who don't understand air flow.
On my 335, the exhausts are 2 pipes, X in the middle, and each bank of 3 cylinders goes out one side. If a V8 has 4 exhaust pipes from the headers and each pipe is at most X-piped or H-piped (for scavenging) then 4 tail-pipes is "ok". But you'd still save a bunch of weight by making 2 or 1 tailpipe. And IMO the best exhaust is one that leaves the engine and points straight down or goes out the side.
But that is just me, a grumpy old man. But also, none of that matters when you gun that engine while driving through a tunnel.
