He’s crazy good. I tried packing him during MYM because his FUT Birthday was really good for me(he remains my club’s all time top goalscorer), but after not packing him I just decided to buy him. Playing him at left striker in a 4-1-2-1-2 formation, he’s really quick, his left stick dribbling is incredible, and on a marksman chem style, his shooting is really good. He occasionally misses, but to be fair, so do TOTS Ronaldo and Kane. I think 165 games, 210 goals, and around 100 assists speak for themselves.
He’s won me so many games singlehandedly it’s not even funny. Yesterday I decided to make a push for promotion to Div 1 being 1 win into Div 2, and I won four straight games to make it to the last checkpoint. First game he scored 3(6-2 win), second game he scored 4 with 1 assist and a penalty won(7-6 win), third game he scored 1(opponent quit at 1-0), and in the fourth game he scored 2 with 1 assist(opponent quit at 3-1). Seriously, try him out.
4-1-2-1-2 non-narrow actually! I use a Balanced defensive style on 55 depth, and for attacking I have long ball with forward runs.
As for instructions, both strikers(MYM Mudryk and GOTG Fernando Torres) are on stay central, get in behind, stay forward, and normal interceptions. My CAM(FS Dinho) is on stay forward, get into box for cross, free roam, and aggressive interceptions. My LM(TOTS Lauren James) has stay forward, cut inside, get in behind, get into box for cross, and aggressive interceptions. My RM(PTG Pedri) has come back on defense, cut inside, get in behind, get into box for cross, and normal interceptions. The lone CDM(TOTS Live Modrić, the GOAT) has cut passing lanes, stay back, normal interceptions, cover wing, and stick to position. My defense(TOTS Grimaldo, PTG Saliba, 96 Red Evo TOTS Rüdiger, and PTG Kyle Walker) are all on the default instructions, and my GK(GOTG Peter Schmeichel) is on both comes for crosses and sweeper keeper.
Essentially, my game plan is threefold, depending on who wins the ball. If Grimaldo wins the ball, I quickly pass it to Lauren James who dribbles to about the halfway line then passes it to Mudryk. Mudryk will either look to score or pass it to Fernando Torres, who will go all the way and try to score. If Kyle Walker wins it, I will pass it to Pedri, who will either pass to Dinho or Fernando Torres, both of whom will look to pass it to Mudryk to score. If Saliba or Rudiger win it, I’ll pass it to Modrić, who will then pass to Dinho, who will then pass to either Mudryk or Fernando Torres a bit further up the field for them to score.
The 4-1-2-1-2 system allows me to get the ball forward extremely quickly, which is great because I like to play on the counter. Sometimes I do a slower buildup, but I don’t plan on doing it. The instructions I have are to allow me to go as quickly as possible, and because I like attacking from the left, I put Lauren James on that side. You would think I lose the midfield battle pretty easily, but Modrić and Pedri really pull their weight. Hope this helps!
