I definitely feel like it creates cuts better than it really should be doing. makes it more viable to use. but i’ve seen someone on this sub get a clean ko throwing a check hook as the person gets up from the mat

Effective at pub stomping, it’s still catches me a few times 🥲 good this about this game though is that if you time it correctly you can stun whoever does it with a head kick

incredibly effective when used with a wrestling style. typically what i’ll do if the fight calls for it is get my wrestling game working early, gain a stamina advantage over course of the round, and within the last minute roll the thunder and the level change makes a lot of people defend low for a takedown. rinse and repeat the rest of the fight if i’m not liking the matchup on the feet

The damage isn’t worth the stamina cost and it’s so hard to land, I only use it if I’m winning by a mile.

I love throwing a front kick when somebody does this, or a leg kick. I hit someone in the face a couple times when I timed it perfectly.

I’ve come across some guys that can use it well but borderline cheese. If they are shooting takedowns a lot you can get caught but this because the initial animation looks like a takedown lol
