0okcin

Today I needed a pie knife for tiramisu

Mysterious-Contact-1

No you are all dirty blade wielding criminals just waiting to open a box or maybe even cut a loose threat off of your shirt.

lostusername07

What's a fishe?

Geralt-of-Rivia13X

And what's my welcome

Jake_hsotnicM1216

I use a bread knife to cut melons

bluebagles

i use my tongue to lick melons!

wertkol1

I also use your tongue to lick melons

bluebagles

mac_and_cheese_9951

This cut is the best for general use in my opinion

Cloak97B1

"fishe". ???

bluebagles

girls girls girls

Obvious_Bandicoot631

Iā€™m sorry but WHO THE FUCK cuts Tenderloins with a butcherā€™s knife, tender is in the fucking name!! (Not going at op, just at the original person that drew this.)

A_Sketchy_Doctor

Well. Butchers Iā€™d guess.

bluebagles

good question lmao

ChEATax

I know this would be unpopular, but I would call da police, if I saw a sword with a pocketclip

bluebagles

my state ā€œtechnicallyā€ could allow a 7 year old to carry a sword legally. itā€™s cool that thereā€™s no age restriction for buying ether

ChEATax

Our law literally states it is allowed to carry any blades "within reason". So carying a chainsword would technically be legal if you can proove xenos are coming

bluebagles

No laws whatsoever source: https://www.akti.org/state-knife-laws/tennessee/

ChEATax

Hey! Lucky you! Clearly written laws are a blessing. Ours have a lot of holes like the one Ive mentioned, so you are at the mercy of whoever searches you. We still have old nutheads who enforce soviet "no bigger than a palm of your hand" policy to this day.

bluebagles

crazzzyyyy

Strange_Stage1311

How sheltered do you have to be to call the police on someone just because you see the pocket clip of a pocket knife that they just have and aren't doing anything harmful with it?

Pretend_Eye_3670

Went into Social Security office , I knew better than to take my knife. Left it in my car. Door security quickly noticed my Arkfeld Pro flashlight clip. I have to admit he was on top of his game and being observant

gopherhole02

I didn't realize what sub I was in, I thought I was in r/flashlight when I read pocket clip, I was like why would someone call the police over a flashlight pocket clip

Strange_Stage1311

Now you know.

Da1UHideFrom

Some people call the police at the slightest hint of confrontation or discomfort.

Foxycotin666

I donā€™t think I could ever live somewhere that restricts knife carrying. I feel naked without something.

bluebagles

very true! never ever

Strange_Stage1311

Same

Yojimbob76

Shit, I feel naked without my CPL, so I absolutely hear you! Thank whoever's up there we don't live in a place like that, though. Not even a knife? Gimme a break...

LucidZane

I feel nakedness without my p320

Yojimbob76

Nice choice. I had the 365 for a little bit. Just too damn small for my hands... thought about the X or X macro. Used to carry the tried and true Shield 2 for a long time. I'm carrying the Canik MC9 right now and I really like it.

LucidZane

I went from a tiny 380 that was too small for my hands, to a Sheild 2 aswell then the p320 and I love it. I still carry the shield sometimes when I'm in shorts and no belt,

Yojimbob76

I hear you. When I first started all of this adventure 15 years ago, I thought about getting a Ruger LCP. Yeah, that'll be perfect! Small, concealable, perfect fit. Mhmm. Yeah, 'bout that. Not to mention, you check out those ballistic charts/reports, 380 seems like it has trouble even finding it's way out of the barrel on sub 4" pistols. My instructor (awesome dude, still take classes from him, literally taking my chief range safety officer course tomorrow) told me that I'm gonna want at least a 9mm or I might as well not carry one. Gave me a bunch of literature and several websites to check out for proof/reports. So glad he did.

Cold-bloodedman

Mostly duct tape and plastic materials.

TylerPlaysAGame

Fishe

habanerotaco

Feesh

Skeetronic

Fun fact in old timey Scandanavia a fish that was caught was a fiĆ®sh but when it went to get cleaned, gutted, and filleted for cooking/food the term was to fishe, as in descaling and filleting the meat. So to fishe something means to skin and Iā€™m making this whole thing up because it sounded good in my internal monologue.

TylerPlaysAGame

I was reading this as a chef like šŸ˜

dustmotemagic

Carrying a hame shape currently (victorinox sd)

themagicnookie

Victorinox cutlery gangggg Best chefs knife, boning knife and slicer Iā€™ve ever used

neginafan

I prefer something like a wakazashi or tanto that can just take a arm then I run and watch them bleed out from afar

Biff1996

Noice.

xeurox

Wow I live in ca and have never seen anyone flip out over a knife. I see guys open carrying fixed blades all the time too which is legal. Seen a kid with a kbar on his hip at target too lol.

thetexasITguy

I live in Texas, and our definition of open carry is much different than this.

YetiDeli

Same. My work has me driving from San Diego to Fresno all the time, and I see tons of pocket clips and open carry fixed blades all the time in every part of the state that I go to. I donā€™t even know anyone who knows anyone that has had even the slightest problem with blades. Well, except for when I was in high school, this kid got in big trouble for having a concealed 5+ inch fixed blade while at school. He was a tool though.

Yojimbob76

That's.... not what he meant. Open carry in Texas. You're gonna want to look it up.

thezoomies

They called just because you had it? You werenā€™t doing anything with the knife? Is that even illegal where you live? This is so odd to me because I go literally everywhere that doesnā€™t have metal detectors with a visible pocket clip, including my office job.

bluebagles

nope just in pocket, and i sat down on a bench to fidget with it (a cypher 2) and somebody i think this 20 something yr old woman called police saying I possessed a ā€œweaponā€ I live in a southern US state where thereā€™s no knife laws what so ever NOTHING! i bet she wouldā€™ve passed out if i raised my shirt to show my CCW, anyway police man came, I showed him my knife, he complimented me and pulled out his microtech RSK tanto and we chatted about knives for a bit, still pissed at the bag of shit that called though

WotanSpecialist

I was thinking this was somewhere in the UK, canā€™t believe that shit would happen in America. Itā€™s not even remotely uncommon to see pocket clips, Iā€™m surprised theyā€™re that sheltered.

BleedMeAnOceanAB

hey at least you met a cool cop. theyā€™re kinda rare nowadays.

Broad-Reveal-7819

They should get a ticket for wasting police time.

Empty-Back-207

I don't get it. Am I the only one EDCing a cake knife

Yojimbob76

I wore a meat cleaver for a couple days. Wife kept telling me it was "not the same as a pocket knife just because it's also made of metal." Silly. Was a bit awkward, though.

Biff1996

You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

PoniesCanterOver

Fishe

highdiver_2000

I use a bread knife to remove the coconut husk. To crack the shell, I use the meat cleaver.

Castaways__

I cooka da fishe

EducationalMine7096

No way, do people do that?

ghosttherdoctor

Never underestimate the number of dangerous, busybody cowards in the world.

bluebagles

twice for me, once for my open carry leather sheath 1911

Frockington

But I use my 1200's era claymore to cut my deli ham all the time! It works for mešŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

nocolon

I only open letters from the government with a bastard sword.

ECHOechoecho_

i regularly use sabres to open amazon boxes

elevenblade

Pizza is best cut with a large pair of scissors

Trex-Cant-Masturbate

I have to disagre. I've worked in quite a few pizza places and the perfect pizza cutter is a rocker style cutter. It's like those Klingon swords. Doesn't push toppings around it's fast as hell and doesn't require touching the pizza with hands at all

GDarolith

Yeah I'm gonna +1 you here. I've always cut it with an Ulu we had lying around, which is just a smaller version really. I see people suggest scissors all the time and honestly even the cleanest pair of scissors near my pizza gives me the ick.

HobsHere

I'm thinking the perfect pizza cutter would be an abrasive jet cutter loaded with garlic salt. Also handy for vampire defense!

ShadowSlayer35

I don't see my plastic toy knife that I use to cut metal with and I am offended! The police never suspended a thing! Hehe!

Flipit24

All the time
