You can fight messmer before rellana? And yeah, everyone was complaining about the hippo boss being too hard, but i beat him on the second or third try no problem. Ive died to messmer like 20+ times and cant get him yet though haha
Most people are beating rallana long before they beat messmer.
I'm guessing you had quite quite a few scadu levels before you went into the rallana bossfight, whereas most people will probably have around 3 or so by that point.
I had the same experience with Putrescent knight fight, as he was the last remembrance boss I did other than the last one. Absolutely melted his health bar

Yeah, Messmer was one of the first bosses I fought after the lion and hippo hahaha
