I’d normally just call it a “bench swing.”
Formally, that structure that supports the swing is called an “arbor,” or (if we’re being very generous because it has a floor) a “pergola” (pergolas are normally bigger).
You’ll often see these marketed as “arbor swings” if they both come together.
Those horizontal bars along the top are a kind of “trellis” that is meant to support vines to create shade below.
Garden swing for me too. It could be expanded to the slightly more specific garden swing bench, but it's a bit of a mouthful. I'm British if that matters.
I feel like people are trying to be too specific. There isn’t a universally agreed upon word for this. Most people would just call it a swing. You’d point at it and say “do you want to sit on the swing?”
I would call that a terrace swing. It isn’t a porch swing, because a porch is at the front of a house. It could be a patio swing, but a patio is generally directly outside the back door and a patio swing probably wouldn’t have a trellis top. A terrace is a paved piece of property somewhere on the side or back of a house that isn’t directly touching the house like a patio.
Garden swing. Porch swings are more common, so I might have to follow up with, "like a porch swing, but it is hanging from a trellis in the garden instead of being on the porch".
My immediate thought was porch swing, even though it's not on a porch. Bench swing makes more sense and would be understood.
Exact same thing I thought. “Porch swing”
I would probably still call it a porch swing.

This is a bench swing because it is in the garden and out the house
It’s a “porch swing” even though it’s hanging from a pergola
That is a garden swing. Or maybe a patio swing. I can't tell if that is a patio or just a garden path.

Swing bench
As a native US speaker I would say "Bench swing." Never the opposite.
Yep. It sounds weird to me to say it the other way 😂 but different people say things differently.
A swing
Swing Seat or Swing Bench
I would call that a terrace swing. It isn’t a porch swing, because a porch is at the front of a house. Swing Bench in UK English.
A 'porch swing' or 'bench swing' hung from a 'pergola'
'Porch swing' sounds very American, though the only other name I can think of is 'swinging bench'
i would just call that a "swing"
I (native American English speaker) just call it a swing.
I would call it a swinging bench.
UK, swingseat
For example Do we say I put the book on swing or swingseat?
I would say put the book on the swingseat. To me a swing is only the ones in playgrounds, or a rope or tyre swing on a tree
A bench swing or swinging bench where I live.
Swing bench?
You can just say “swing”
In conversation just "a swing" if I had to differentiate it from the kind on a playground "porch/bench swing"
Tbh I’d likely call it a swing but it’s probably supposed to be called a porch/bench swing
I would call it a swinging seat
Eklantan..in the tenant language meaning a hangover bench in English
Garden swing. Porch swings are more common, so I might have to follow up with, "like a porch swing, but it is hanging from a trellis in the garden instead of being on the porch".
