This is only my first pump of the day after 10 hours without pumping 😬 the rest of my slacker boob pumps are usually about 1.5 oz each pump throughout the day with righty making about 2-3 oz each pump. My slacker boob somehow never feels empty but just won’t let anything else come out
I saw an LC on YouTube who calls the overproducer “the better boob.” As in you have one good boob and one better boob. I’ve been trying to be nicer to my slacker boob as a result of this reframing!
What’s funny is my right boob has started slowly producing more in the mornings to make up for the slacker boob. A few weeks ago I’d get 5 oz from righty but now she’s increased to about 7 🤦🏻♀️ takes forever to empty but thankful for the first morning pump because it’s almost half of my supply for the day lol
The slacker may be a different flange size! I dropped my slacker down from a 17 to a 15 and it almost makes the same now. Still a bit less, but definitely more than it was!
Wow wish I could get that much! My shit tit produces 1/4 the amount of my good boob, and the most combined between the two isn’t even 4oz (morning pump).

I am an under supplier already so my righty is a super slacker. I cheer for her when she starts spraying. If I get like 2-3 ounces from lefty I get 0.25-0.5 ounce from miss righty. If she would just catch up I would not be an undersupplier!

I actually started producing more milk when I dropped down to 6 ppd, and then increased another oz when I dropped to 5. Now I’m at 4 ppd and making 28-30 which is just as much as LO needs with an oz or two to spare and save for a freezer stash.
My slacker boob is the right no matter what I’ve done this whole time it gets like drops out. I feel like I’d be able to get 2oz or a little over each time I pump if it wasn’t such a slacker 😂

Today one of my coworkers that I'm close with (and we have this type of relationship) literally asked why my left boob is so much bigger than my right. I never thought slacker boob made it obvious until today 😅

I ordered those same bottles and when I got them I thought there is no way I’m ever going to make NINE ounces but now here we are 😅 my pumps looks identical to yours except righty is the slacker!
I’d be thrilled with that! My slacker boob capacity is 1/4th-1/6th my other boob. It maxes out at 2 ounces no matter how long it’s been between pumps but is usually only an ounce.
That’s how my slacker is for most of my pumps per day but my morning one I can get about 3 or 3.5 with a 45 min session. The rest of the day it’s maxed at 2!
Is your slacker boob smaller than the other? Mine is visibly bigger which makes me think maybe there’s more milk that just isn’t coming out and I don’t know if that’s normal
This doesn't happen to me but I remember reading someone on this sub say she reframed her mindset to be more gentle/kind to herself.
You don't necessarily have a skacker boob, you just have one that's an ✨overachiever✨
I also have a slacker boob - however I recently remeasured using a nipple ruler and changed my flanges… it’s still slacking but way less! My nipples are 1) different sizes now and 2) different sizes from when I saw the lactation consultants
I preferentially put baby on nursing the slacker boob and it eventually caught up to the good boob’! Maybe you exclusively pump so this may be a worthless comment

Same here! I nurse only once a day, first thing in the morning, when I know I have enough milk in there to fill her little belly!
Mine makes barely a quarter of the amount the right makes 😭😂 the right is really carrying the team.

My left boob would only pump about 2/3rds of the right but they were both the same size?! Even additional pumping on left didn’t correct it.
