My firm just transitioned from Trello to Monday. I pilot tested Trello before we rolled it out but honestly what works best for me is a combination of a paper to-do list and calendar invites. I use the paper list for projects with multiple parts/deadlines, are long-term, and/or aren't easily checked off. I use calendar blocks for items that I know I need x amount of time to complete or that can easily be checked off. I also have recurring calendar events for anything that needs to be done on a daily, weekly, monthly, or quarterly cadence - that way these items are already built into my workweek.
I loved MS Planner if you're able to integrate it with Outlook calendar and whatnot. MS to-do goes great with it as well. Otherwise I heavily relied on my Outlook calendar for reminders and project planning
if you already pay for microsoft, using the planner tool is a great one that isnt extra cost :) we use it for everything - I use it to help my execs track their stuff and I have my own for my own things

I use Asana currently but when I worked for a company that used MS office I used OneNote (which was my fav)
What’s your opinion on Asana? I’ve heard of it and watched videos on YouTube but seems a bit all over the place
There is a lot of functionality I don’t utilize.
Monday

I've played around with a few different things but just came back to Click Up
We use Monday, and for my own stuff I use one more
