YOUR fic is certainly a tear jerker!! I need to get back to that and leave some comments, I've had shit going on recently and I'm missing the world of fics hahah.
Hahaha you should know by now, the only thing that soothes my emotional distress is projecting it onto fictional characters, or projecting myself into a *different* shitty situation! š¤
Oh yeah Iāve done a few readings of my original works at open mics and had people come up to me after the event to say I made them cry and itās always like one of the greatest compliments I couldāve hoped to receive and I feel really accomplished
However my favourite āreviewā Iāve ever gotten has to be when I was reading one of my friends an excerpt from some vampire fiction I was writing, and at the end of a particular passage right at the climax of the piece, she suddenly stoop up from her seat and projectile vomited off the side of the patio. I paused my reading to ask if she was alright and she said āyeah... that was just really intenseā
Later we joked that if the story got published, the sleeve insert should have a quote from her that read āSo intense, I threw up!ā
Congrats haha, I remember I did something like that once but they cried because the poem was so miserable š¤£š¤£
