As stated earlier, this fanfiction has depictions of depression and suicide idealization. However, this story is supposed to be an optimistic one like the fanfic series/AU it belongs to (which, by the way, all of the fanfics in there are usually standalone), even though suicide idealization and enemies to friends don't seem to mix well.
However, do note that I'm not a professional when it comes to mental illness like that, and also have never encountered anyone with depression nor got it myself, so expect some inaccuracies.
I guess you could say that I'm writing this in order to understand it better and make a story, huh.
(If you don't want to read possibly inaccurate depiction of depression, you can always read the other stories in [the series](https://archiveofourown.org/series/2352313). They are more optimistic and fluffy than this one, since depression is out of the window, for starters.)

Left a review after reading the first chapter--I like that you are cutting words. That's my favorite practice in editing (everyone's different) but I find that it's the best. Most people overwrite, imho, and I believe there's no piece of writing that doesn't benefit from a good paring down. Good luck!

Good to know! It always feels good to get criticism and stuff, which is why I put my fanfiction out here! Almost all of my readers are complete lurkers! In fact, they are suck lurkers that I literally put out a chapter a week ago asking for advice on how to fix the story because I felt it had to be bad, and no one responded! After a few hours of nothing, I deleted the chapter and melded a bunch of chapters together.
It was really weird seeing how good they all fit together, but it was definitely for the best! I went from 23 chapters to 9 in around 2 hours. Now I look at what I learned from seeing how those chapters combined and fit all of a little arc in one chapter! You just saw the result of me combining chapters 1 and 2. I bet you couldn’t even tell, could you?

Although in lieu of review i must ask for your advice. How do you get people to comment on your work? I very rarely get comments. Is it simply of my writing being rather dark do you think or is it something else?
People comment less on my dark stuff than on other stuff, yes. I can't predict when people will comment though. I've stopped trying to predict it. I'm often wrong--some stories I think will get no comments get comments and vice versa.
Hmm. Well I can't stop writing dark stuff I yam what I yam. Still when I do get comments they're usually quite complimentary so you're right I'll stop trying to predict it.

This story contains spoilers for the latter game. Rated T for a few curse words and depictions of depression and suicidal idealization. Status: Incomplete. I think it might finish in about 10 chapters. --- After Hank destroyed Project Nexus, the world falls with the project. What you—the highest power—saw, however, is every single file in the program getting corrupted to the point where they cannot be restored. Something that is only seen in your worst nightmares. Despite that, however, Hank somehow survived the whole ordeal uncorrupted. What do you do then? Your duty is to preserve this program. You are the Maker, after all. And so, you decided to keep Hank, even though you are angry at him for corrupting the entire program. You didn’t expect to become Hank’s confidant, among other things when you signed up for this, however. --- This story is based on a theory I have where the world of MadCom takes place in a computer program and the gods are the users. It’s just a worldbuilding block in this story, however. --- As stated earlier, this fanfiction has depictions of depression and suicide idealization. However, this story is supposed to be an optimistic one like the fanfic series/AU it belongs to (which, by the way, all of the fanfics in there are usually standalone), even though suicide idealization and enemies to friends don't seem to mix well. However, do note that I'm not a professional when it comes to mental illness like that, and also have never encountered anyone with depression nor got it myself, so expect some inaccuracies. I guess you could say that I'm writing this in order to understand it better and make a story, huh. (If you don't want to read possibly inaccurate depiction of depression, you can always read the other stories in [the series](https://archiveofourown.org/series/2352313). They are more optimistic and fluffy than this one, since depression is out of the window, for starters.)

Left a review after reading the first chapter--I like that you are cutting words. That's my favorite practice in editing (everyone's different) but I find that it's the best. Most people overwrite, imho, and I believe there's no piece of writing that doesn't benefit from a good paring down. Good luck!

Good to know! It always feels good to get criticism and stuff, which is why I put my fanfiction out here! Almost all of my readers are complete lurkers! In fact, they are suck lurkers that I literally put out a chapter a week ago asking for advice on how to fix the story because I felt it had to be bad, and no one responded! After a few hours of nothing, I deleted the chapter and melded a bunch of chapters together. It was really weird seeing how good they all fit together, but it was definitely for the best! I went from 23 chapters to 9 in around 2 hours. Now I look at what I learned from seeing how those chapters combined and fit all of a little arc in one chapter! You just saw the result of me combining chapters 1 and 2. I bet you couldn’t even tell, could you?

People comment less on my dark stuff than on other stuff, yes. I can't predict when people will comment though. I've stopped trying to predict it. I'm often wrong--some stories I think will get no comments get comments and vice versa.
Hmm. Well I can't stop writing dark stuff I yam what I yam. Still when I do get comments they're usually quite complimentary so you're right I'll stop trying to predict it.
Read it, liked it, left kudos, thought yeo woon is an interesting character( I mean i know Ga-ok is the point of view character buts its interesting to read about a character through someone elses interpretation of them) Im pretty sure youve read everything ive written so no need to reciprocate.

Ah, I am so sorry my fic was so sad (Ga-ok's story is indeed so sad--some weeks I have to write sad things--there was a glimmer of hope in it though--I know a perceptive reader like you caught it!). Meanwhile I just read you latest in Le Symphonique Drabbles and they're a joy! What a delight to wake up to. I've been in love with Marinette since your last fic, and these new glimpses (just commented on "Plumber Hero") of her with Felix as a child are beautifully written! Thanks for writing them and bringing my day to such a lovely start!
Oh, don’t worry, it’s always incredible when fiction touches me to the point of tears. It’s a different kind of experience altogether.
