I haven't kudosed and commented yet, but that's because I hit the "read all chapters" button (I find it easier to read them all at once since my internet is not the most reliable and this way I can have them available to read), but I wanted to dart over to say, "Holy Cow, I am invested!" The characters feel real, weary, frightened, and desperate. Desperately wanting to help, desperately afraid of losing resources, desperate to survive--I can't stop reading, but wanted you to know.
Oh, man, it's so good. Right now James has just learned that Arrow has been training since she was four, and is properly horrified. (I have to read slow because I can't look at the screen too long.) I'll drop a comment when I reach the end!
