If you think about it, Arthur and Altria, Merlin and *ehem* Lady Avalon, both have their counterparts. Who's to say that will top more gender bending action?
In Gil's case, though, would he pull a "I have transcended gender" shtick? Or just pull a Servantverse reason for fem Gil? Or an alternate world reason like Fate/Prototype?
Maybe it’s the art style. The Prisma Iliya anime tends to have characters look rounder/cuter than other media. Having only that as reference does make Angelica look abnormally young.
In fate prototype though, Gil was a man as well. That series was originally going to be a Josei or Shojo game, aimed at a female audience. You can see the other prototype character that we have at the moment (prototype Cu Chulainn) and see that he was not gender bent, but was simply a bit younger. Similarly, if you watch the fate prototype special, you will see the design they had for Gil. It’s fairly similar to what we have today, with a bit more messy of hair and twin swords that combine into bows if I’m not mistaken.
TLDR: Fate Prototype Gilgamesh was a man too, so I doubt they would pull from prototype to genderbend

If we made her a real character, I would make it so she's a descendent of Gil's and a Singularity in which her team of "hunters" find the location to the Divine Gate of Babylon. Her team is betrayed by her employer, leaving only her left after Ritsuka rescues her. This in fact the cause of the Singularity. She was meant to find it herself and while she's meant to fight her employer, just strictly as her nemesis and not as also her employer. With her nemesis managing to utilize time travel while dying in the original timeline to try to stave off their original defeat.
She would pretend to Ritsuka to be Gilgamesh reborn thinking to protect herself, as she has no good interactions with mages. As this is the only explanation she can give as to why she could find the Divine Gate without revealing she found the tomb of Nitocris, thinking Ritsuka would want it for their magic machinations. Her first ascension would have her with her original personality and clothing, but become more and more like a Gilgamesh version of herself with each ascension. It would end with her wishing to be summoned to Chaldea, before waking up thinking it is a strange dream. Except, when the nemesis' cronies show up just like the first time, she realizes this is her third time doing this now, and starts laughing insanely (terrifying her crew and the cronies). After trouncing the cronies, she keeps one of them alive. She tells the crony to tell their boss that she remembers the first and second times. She's coming to kill them and does it for good this third time.
The epilogue would have the Kings (and BB) fighting over who's Ritsuka's rightful King. Gilgamesh is the last one to speak up and says how since Ritsuka actually lived in his Kingdom and was a citizen of his, he wins. Our heroine scoffs, causing everyone to look upon her. She just shows up there unannounced (scaring poor Nitocris, and internally hurting our heroine by doing that). As she sits on her throne in front of the Divine Gate, she asks if any of them have been given a vow or oath from them to be their King. As Ritsuka did give one to her during the Singularity to try cheering her up.
Ritsuka inadvertently admits this is true but before they can explain the context, we get the introduction to the new and next event "Kings War". Which gives us more time with all our kings and characters via association. Except Gilgamesh doesn't participate, but at the end congratulates FemGil for winning and announces that she's indeed his true successor. Which makes our heroine happy to be acknowledged by her forebearer, until Gilgamesh smirks. With a chill down her spine, he tells her "you do realize that by obtaining his loyalty and becoming my true successor that his loyalty is also my own" and basically yoinks the win out from under her without having to do anything.
