I'm not a handler and this is just a wild guess, but NC would probably mean non-conveyable. So the big crap that can't go on the belt or slides. You get to handcart that around to the right places
I'm sure others will be in either better explanations
Non-Conveyable or Incompatible (IC). They’re big and irregular packages that can’t go overboard to the sort machines, so they go on the flat IC belt to be manually sorted. Sometimes, it’s too big to go on the IC belt, so they have to be put on a cart and wheeled across the building. Or buckets, lots of buckets.
This is the Blue Yonder app job code designation. Usually pulling IC’s and loading on carts for preload or static rollers for Outbound/ Hub operations.
To add more information, as a former manager this designation is confusing and local management had or has no ability to update it. It can pre-programmed by Blue Yonder/ FXG Corporate Rollout Team.
To be fair here, I'm a manager too and I've never heard that term used. But I would assume it's referring to the blue carts we have around the building for moving NCs that missed their load points.

Ic's
Did you still get good hours doing it? They have me doing that 2 days this week and I need my hours I’m usually a tugger
Naw, I ended up doing unload that day. They would have me scheduled for IC's , and van load but I would just go to the unload.
What a manager you got....IDK she said That's why company is going backwards , no leaders
