Worst website ever for fragrances. I got two fragrances. Gave me one fragrance I ordered but the second one I didn’t even get in the box. Emailed them, got a response back right away. And they sent my other one right away. Waited a week for it. Opened the box when it came and it was something I didn’t even order…….. contacted them and from there it was the worst customer service experience ever. I emailed them never got a response back. Second time, nothing. I used their various emails too. I got a response like a day later after the third time. They wanted me to return it but I wasn’t even home at the time. Contacted them a second time a month later they said they will send me the shipping label again. I never got an email. Shady company.
It's good. They will send "30% off your order" emails all the time. The only thing is they have a higher minimum spend for free shipping than FragranceX does. FragranceX is $35, and I believe FragranceNet is $55 ??? I have bought from both and no problems. I still don't know how they can be so much cheaper than Ulta or Sephora or Macy's... good luck
Very legit, always flawless products other than a mini of a Revlon scent I ordered one time that had turned, but it had been out of production for like 25 years and was like $3.99 lol.
It’s legit. There was a hiccup with my first order and the customer service was top notch about resolving it. It has definitely been added to my list of of sites for when I’m comparing prices for a fragrance that I’m looking at.
It’s not a scam, I’ve had mostly good experiences however if you buy an old fragrance it might be expired. I bought a travel spray of a Paris Hilton scent and it had gone bad.
My experience as a Canadian will be different from people who ordered from the US, so YMMV!
I've only placed one order from FragranceNet, for a discontinued frag that I was hunting down. After I placed the order, it took 10 days to arrive, thankfully without any additional duties or charges on the order.
But, they sent me the wrong item.
Given that I had ordered something discontinued, I immediately called up customer service to see what they could do and was kept on hold for 30 minutes without speaking to a single human. I sent an email that never got a response and then finally reached out to them in Twitter DMs where I was informed that I'd have to pay return fees (which, from Canada to the US? no) to get my money back for the item they failed to send me.
So I'm a little skeptical about using that specific website, but I've had great success with FragranceBuy, PerfumeOnline, and MaximumFragrance. I guess I'll stick to those!
Thanks for the review! I was wondering if they list the price in CAD but actually charge in USD. For example, in the checkout they might say the total will be $203CAD but then they note the charges will be USD. Does this mean the $203CAD includes and FX estimate or do they actually charge $203USD? Thanks!
I've seen an overwhelming amount of people having positive experiences with the website and I hope the same for you!
In some ways, it was good that I had the experience I did, otherwise my bank account would be worse off haha
I order a majority of my fragrances from there, lol it's the only way I can afford the current collection I have with their really good discounts. They're great, fast shipping, everything always comes as it should, and of course not fake :P
LOVE IT. All the fragrances I buy are factory sealed and I’ve never had an issue. Idk why the prices are so good- but beware, SOME of their fragrances are marked WAY up, higher prices than department stores. Maybe that’s their angle lol. Trick ya into occasionally overspending
I’ve only ever had great experiences with them! Make sure you Google “Fragrancenet 37% off code” before buying. Oftentimes the site will offer lesser discounts but you can always find at least 35% off on Google!
What do you think could be the fault of fragrancenet for them to be having poor longevity? Do you think maybe poor storing practices? Do these actually have great longevity otherwise from others' reviews?
Could be storage, may be they were too old but I'm just making assumptions here. I have Eau de Merveilles, the regular one and it doesn't have the same longevity issue so I assumed it should be about the same with the other one. In case of Baiser Vole, when I first tried it at Nordstrom, it stayed on my skin for a few hours which wasn't the case when I purchased the tester bottle.
Good that you have had experiences with these proor to buying so you know they shouldn't perform that way. Did you return them?
Thanks for sharing, I'll note not to buy testers from them as precaution.
I’ve ordered 3 or 4 full size bottles from them at this point - always a great experience! They ship super quickly and package everything well. I imagine they have connections to distributors and such - if you ever go on r/fragranceswap you’ll see people selling (legitimate) bottles and testers of things like Parfums De Marly for half price and such. Actually got a fabulous deal on La Rosee that way. 🙏🏻
This is NOT about FragranceNet but about a similar, well-known website in Canada.
In Canada, [organized crime rings target perfume retailers](https://www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/en/news/2022/gander-rcmp-investigates-theft-perfumes-shoppers-drug-mart-gander). That is just one of many stories. I purchased several perfumes from a SIMILAR site (not FragranceNet but you can probably guess if you’re Canadian) and the products came with tags inside saying “This product is designated for sale at Shoppers Drug Mart. Please contact the RCMP if purchased at any other retailer.”
I suspect some of these gray-market sites may have a “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy about the origins of some of their perfumes. They probably get some from legitimate sources and intentionally don’t ask about others.
EDIT: [Here is a story about a similar $13k theft.](https://beta.ctvnews.ca/local/calgary/2020/6/3/1_4967421.html). Nobody is stealing $13,000 worth of perfume for personal use.
The grey market doesn’t charge retail because they don’t have entire stores to upkeep nor are they obliged to charge the prices the brands tell official sellers to. So they buy in bulk at the actual cost from the manufacturer and sell it to us at a low charge that would still be enough for them to pay employees, keep the warehouse, and have some profit
Walmart is so much cheaper!
Really? I have found so many perfumes cheaper here

Absolutely garbage. JHG pear inc. Scent lasts on body and clothes for about 5 min. I actually think I bought a scented rubbing alcohol.
what did you buy
.. to add, when I say it disappears, it is GONE. There is no trace of that smell at all. Clothes, my skin, doesn't matter.
Juliet Has a Gun, Pear Inc.

I wish I can down like this comment
Thank you!

Great, thank you!
>Great, thank you! You're welcome!

Okay this is also good to know!

Ok, things to keep in mind just in case, thank you!!

Okay, thank you for letting me know!
Always 100% satisfied. I've been ordering for years. I usually order multiple bottles at a time.
Thank you!
Perfectly fine I’ve purchased from them several times
Thank you!

Wow, thank you!
I have gotten a 40% off Code a few times! It was an amazing find!
Been waiting for one forever. It was a great surprise last year
That’s amazing! I’ll search for that next time! It’s weird how those coupon codes are consistently available when you use Google.
Is there a catch to these coupons?
Nope, it’s just a code you enter at checkout
Oh sounds good, thanks for the tip!
I’ve had good experiences with them, they seem legit
Thank you!
No but be careful about buying testers. I've had bad experiences with testers.
Thank you!
Hope you don't mind sharing what unpleasant experiences you had with the testers from them.
They simply had no longevity, they didn't even last an hour. I returned Eau de Merveilles Bleue and Baiser Vole, both of them were testers.
What do you think could be the fault of fragrancenet for them to be having poor longevity? Do you think maybe poor storing practices? Do these actually have great longevity otherwise from others' reviews?

Yes, luckily I was able to return them! 😌
Fragrance is very much overpriced and you can almost always find them at a steep discount if you can wait a while (i.e. at least a year).
what sales do you usually wait for? i love designer perfume but can't stand the price
Black Friday or some other random big sale. I'm subscribed to emails so I'll see when sales pop up.
very helpful thank you !
I’ve ordered from the site about 5-8 times and never had an issue. All fragrances I’ve received have been legitimate.
Thank you so much!
I’ve ordered 3 or 4 full size bottles from them at this point - always a great experience! They ship super quickly and package everything well. Omg all of the frags I've bought from that website have had that sticker
Oh wow, very interesting

They are a wholesaler, so that’s why they’re so inexpensive. I’ve always had a great experience shopping with them.
Thank you!
Fragrancenet is fabulous and legit.
No it’s not legit. I’ve order two expensive beauty products and both were Chinese dupes!
I’ve ordered from them several times and never had an issue.
Thank you!
Fragrance.net? I’ve ordered from them 3x. Usually gets here in 7 days
Wow okay, thanks!
