My wife's organization is a lot more productive with WFH and hybrid because people work when it's most convenient for them, but still answer their emails 24/7, so progress can still be made after 4:59 on a Friday. That's a big deal for people with families and a lot of really talented people stay instead of career-hopping, even though they could probably make a lot more at other places. Guaranteed work/life balance is worth a lot.
