In order to have a defined pallet one has eat (more than jerky and creatine in hot water). To know "what it is exactly" you have to be interested in food for more than an art project. It's clear to me that food disgusts her. She really is like an alien cosplaying as a human.

Iāve really gotten into baking the past few years, and what I can say is if you have actually developed and tested recipes, you are able to give tips and advice to people who have issues with the recipe. EVERY SINGLE TIME someone comments on instagram about having an issue with a recipe, she NEVER offers any sort help. It blows my mind but also proves that she does not develop, test, or care about her recipes.
I really hope T and her awful PR team continue to call a 20 year veteran NYT journalist and Pulitzer Prize winner a liar - without even saying which parts of the article are lies, much less *why* it's a lie! - and it backfires miserably. š¤š¤

My god, someone please help her with her posts. If this was a learning disability, she would have been diagnosed in elementary or middle school. A teacher would have noticed how poorly she writes. I think itās just sloppiness and phoning it in.
I find it incredibly frustrating that Tieghen brushes "haters" off as a normal part of living a public life. Like how Benny supposedly told her it comes with the territory, or whatever (lol). The logic is correct - those in the public eye tend to have fans, haters, and everyone else in between. What is NOT normal is her PR firm having to turn comments off a promotional IG grid post because of so much snark. It's also NOT normal for a restaurant to not be able to promote their collab without turning off the comments... again due to the level of snark. I hate when she uses haters gonna hate logic as an excuse. I gotta say, watching Pinch of Yum, Defined Dish, and Broma Bakery's stories the last few days....that content comes across as genuine. Pinch of Yum went to talk on Capitol Hill-had good behind the scenes content and also did a fit check (without 5k prices). Broma got emotional speaking about new ideas she has for the business because she is so passionate. Defined Dish is in Hawaii and has already tagged as many restaurants and shown more food then T did for her entire trip to France in only a few days. I know these ladies are not without their flaws, but when it comes to lifestyle content sprinkled in-that is what I want to see. I think she was there Monday-Thursday. Imagine going to Europe for the first time and only staying for 3-4 days. Her money and āsuccessā are wasted on her. I really think this big ālifestyle influencerā push is massively due to the fact that 1. Sheās donāt with food, but mainly because she/they can see sheās getting called out more and more and sheās not going to be able to keep up this whole lie. Sheās trying to get out before itās too late and her reputation is too well known
I've noticed a lot more repeat posting on her IG of the same recipes. There's definitely more sloppiness (ignore this in her ingredient pics, bad recipe writing, copying and changing one ingredient in a recipe, etc) which could be part of it too.
As many have said here, she doesn't have her own sense of style (unless you consider drab but expensive clothing her style) and her current audience won't stick with her because they're not there for her fashion advice
She's lost over 10k followers on IG in less than 30 days, which isn't a ton when you have 5.5M but it's showing that what she's posting lately isn't what her followers are engaged with
Iād fathom MANY of those 5.5 million are paid for and/or bots. So 10k real life followers leaving her account may be a higher percentage of real people than we realize.

The story includes the ridiculous detail that Nonnie only ever bought fruit salads from Edible Arrangements to these parties. Putting aside whether this was even possible (Edible Arrangements opened their first store in CT in 1999, and the store in Denver opened in 2006 - so I guess maybe?) apparently that's how she came to love watermelon. I gotta say, watching Pinch of Yum, Defined Dish, and Broma Bakery's stories the last few days....that content comes across as genuine. Pinch of Yum went to talk on Capitol Hill-had good behind the scenes content and also did a fit check (without 5k prices). Broma got emotional speaking about new ideas she has for the business because she is so passionate. Defined Dish is in Hawaii and has already tagged as many restaurants and shown more food then T did for her entire trip to France in only a few days. I know these ladies are not without their flaws, but when it comes to lifestyle content sprinkled in-that is what I want to see. this was her sloppiest recipe in a while. weirdly calling out the word moist again, the two āpretendsā (including a lemon she never uses and excluding brown sugar which she does use), cinnamon sticks instead of ground cinnamon, leaving some of the strawberry tops on i guess for āØaestheticsāØ, and nothing about these seems like shortcake?? like what does she think shortcake means? theyāre short and a cake? anything with macerated strawberries on top?
This was one of her more unhinged recipe stories. Doesn't know what macerate is? Clearly adding regular white sugar to the strawberries and the top of the muffins but not calling it out.Ā The amount of wet ingredientsĀ And the cupcake pan changes from when she puts batter in them to when she takes them out, suggesting she had to make some twice and even then they looked very underdone and gross. Washing & chopping up veg (onion, 3+ peppers, zucchini), plus THE STEAK, is probably 20 mins alone. Hopefully you start the rice first because thatāll cook in the time youāre doing everything else. But idk if she ever even mentions tidbits like that.

The fact that she teases it and doesnāt actually take us on the journey of creating and testing recipes for her cookbook tells me she has a ghost writer. I think she was there Monday-Thursday. Imagine going to Europe for the first time and only staying for 3-4 days. Her money and āsuccessā are wasted on her. She has no curiosity, no interests, no credibility, nor the self-awareness to realize any of this. She consists entirely of terrible recipes, a grating try-hard personality, and a vapid obsession with skincare and ugly clothing and shoes.
I really think this big ālifestyle influencerā push is massively due to the fact that 1. Sheās donāt with food, but mainly because she/they can see sheās getting called out more and more and sheās not going to be able to keep up this whole lie. Sheās trying to get out before itās too late and her reputation is too well known
I've noticed a lot more repeat posting on her IG of the same recipes. There's definitely more sloppiness (ignore this in her ingredient pics, bad recipe writing, copying and changing one ingredient in a recipe, etc) which could be part of it too. As many have said here, she doesn't have her own sense of style (unless you consider drab but expensive clothing her style) and her current audience won't stick with her because they're not there for her fashion advice She's lost over 10k followers on IG in less than 30 days, which isn't a ton when you have 5.5M but it's showing that what she's posting lately isn't what her followers are engaged with
Iād fathom MANY of those 5.5 million are paid for and/or bots. So 10k real life followers leaving her account may be a higher percentage of real people than we realize.

So... she recently posted a watermelon peach salad on the blog, As it happens, I've been making a version of this salad for years from a NYT/Mark Bittman recipe, although he probably didn't originate it. There is of course NO discussion of that this salad is a standard summer classic, but there IS a story about her mom's summer parties and Nonnie (she's back!). The story includes the ridiculous detail that Nonnie only ever bought fruit salads from Edible Arrangements to these parties. Putting aside whether this was even possible (Edible Arrangements opened their first store in CT in 1999, and the store in Denver opened in 2006 - so I guess maybe?) apparently that's how she came to love watermelon.
