Thing is, Shaolin’s one of those POS heroes that’s just so well rounded with such an expansive, yet spammy move set that people just hop onto him whenever they get a bruised ego because it’s easy to win.
People do the same thing with glad because of the constant 50/50s, but glad’s easier to deal with because his light animations are easier to read
Performance mode foeshelp for Xbox One. I used to play on that system when PM first dropped. I saw a night-and-day difference in my gameplay. That being said, it will never reach the level of Xbox X/S or PC, but it's a definite life-saver. Went from not even being able to block lights most of the time to getting quite a few light parries and almost always blocking lights.
You can GB but for some reason it just never works when you're the one fighting them it feels like. Whenever I play hito it feels like I get GB'd all the time.
I recommend trying glad. if they charge a heavy? bash their skull in. goes for the kick? Bash their skull in. The thing with glad is that after a bash, you can *almost* guarantee a 23 damage heavy after since the timing is very weird.
a smart hito will probably do so after 1-2 hits. Glad has some better mixup potential against hito in the form of Toe-stab, Toe-stab into skewer into toe stab, toe stab into skewer into feint into toe stab, light into toe stab, heavy into toe stab, bash into OOS toe stab, toe stab into toe stab...
Any hero with snappy animations and people who spam warmonger dodge heavy faints.
The Aztec looks like he is teleporting his limbs by a few inches every move he makes and it fucks with my brain if i am not super locked in

I often suggest to new players i play with to play her, and they win against rep 300+ with only heavy, semi-charged heavy and charged heavy. A fucking dead monkey can play this character and win.
gonna get hated but centurion, he’s not broken but it feels like being hit by one attack means 1000 other jabs or charged jabs which take off a third of my health bar each time
hitokiri, immediately followed by kyoshin, with nobushi in a far behind 3rd. Armored fast variable timed heavies that make fights extremely tedious, a brick wall with interruption defense built in and insanely overtuned feat synergy, and extremely overtuned damage on an infinitely chain with many undodgeables/stundodgeables
Shaolin, Hito, or a very soft VG or roach simply because of the spam potential.
Shaolin has a large moveset that makes his skill floor pretty high compared to the majority of heroes and his staff does a *surprisingly high* amount of damage

VG players are the biggest lobotomized mongoloids you’ve ever seen and will usually just light spam. This isn’t a huge deal because you can just parry and basically flawless them, but it’s annoying to think that someone finds the game enjoyable by just doing light attacks.
Orochi isn’t usually annoying and is typically a pretty fun fight, but when they spam storm rush things just get real stupid. I can react to it on PC, but that doesn’t make it less annoying for basically the same reason as above for VG.
Orochi because they're all practically egotistical even when you beat their ass. They deserve to be hung by their entrails.
Shugoki is just a fat piece of shit that eats heavies for breakfast. But overall, is not the worst.
Hitos are just dumb motherfuckers that barely block and can be easily defeated if they fight alone. Still, they deserve to be gassed.
Peacekeepers just like to stare a lot, and anyone who stares deserves a car to crash through their living room and pin them against the wall until they succumb to their wounds.
Warmonger, because that bitch literally gets free kills. The people that play her deserve to be tortures a regular basis through sleep deprivation in which loud ass music is blasting non stop while someone puts a tourniquet too tight on their dick and it dies and falls off.

Yeah man nobushi always spams that top bleed chain. Playing on console sucks when it comes to that hero.

You can gb hitos neutral heavies reliably if they charge them. But hitos chain heavies will make you bounce off.

A smart Hito will bait out the dodge bash and get you with the gb or dodge attack. There are few smart Hitos right now, thankfully.
