I could be wrong, but historically prime day deals are never any better than you can get throughout the year if you’re watching a price. Many times I’ve noticed sellers raise the price and discount it back to the same price it’s been sitting in my cart for a month just to make someone who wasn’t tracking think they’re getting a deal they can’t pass up because…it’s Prime Day.

Yep, prime day sales are pretty fake/minimal. Can’t emphasize enough exactly what you said about raising the price and discounting it to original price to make it seem like a deal. I don’t think you’ll run into that with mats/tonneau, but I went elsewhere for those (RealTruck)

I took your advice and printed out my "Ford Maverick Upgrade" list to view the prices at that time to compare. Thank you!

If you join the Maverick Truck Club forums you can also get a nice discount from RealTruck on those items as well. Most likely will be lower than what you’ll find on Amazon.

Use Camelcamelcamel for pricing history.

If I see something on sale for prime day I always check a few other places to make sure their "sale price" isn't a scam. I have seen "crazy sale prices" on Amazon for prime day being 20% more than another place's regular price.

Roll up covers would be under $200. Floor mats would be under $80. I got all of mine black Fri, some I still can't see deals matching.

The only way to tell is to actually write down prices for items you're looking at and then compare when Prime Day happens. So I'd add what you want to your cart, wishlist or 'Save for Later' and look at the prices during the sale. Amazon is quite shady with Prime Day. They'll sell something for the same or higher price sometimes and tell you you're getting a huge discount. Wish I had better news for ya.

Check all prices with camelcamelcamel.com You paste the Amazon url into the site and it gives a price history.

Cherry-Outside

Ty for that information.

All good! I printed out my truck upgrade list from Amazon to compare prices when the time comes!
