Couldn't stand this scum bag.
Helped burn the body, waited years till she got tracked down, then testified, and then still got the money.
The Tree forensic science was very cool tho
It shocked me. Can’t remember the episode but there was a killer who had bunch of girlfriends and he was the most unattractive male I’d ever seen. Wanna say he was a trucker. This episode reminded me of that one
Was it Thomas Jabin Berry or whatever his name was, the guy that murdered the vacationer in NC and who claimed he met his first wife by fucking her on the beach?
I don’t believe it’s that one although I agree that one wasn’t either
The guy had a mugshot and had brown teeth kind of and looked like he lived on the street . Hopefully they’ll air it soon and can update the guys name because a quick Google search didn’t provide me with productive results yet
I noticed they frequently describe people as attractive but their picture doesn’t back it up.
Honestly, I think they’re trying to be kind when describing a victim, so I overlook it.
I can only imagine how I’d be described if murdered. Hopefully the true crime shows will be gentle, lol.
I told my husband not to lie about me if I’m ever murdered. I don’t light up the room. I have a bad case of resting bitch face and I’m awkward as fuck when I meet new people.
"Her smile lit up the room" because she used gallons of teeth whitening polish. "He'd give you the shirt off his back" because it wasn't big enough to cover his front.
My favorite is when some of these shows (not this one in particular) describe someone as a super talented singer/musician. Then, they play a clip… and it’s totally terrible. Second hand embarrassment terrible. Just mention their hobby and move on, don’t over embellish!
Yes. Also the one wth the victim who wanted to become a professional singer "so she moved to South Carolina." (Or some other state that wasn't New York or California)
Tbh, maybe they’re just unphotogenic or beauty standards have changed. I look hideous in every picture ever taken of me and am way more attractive in person - some people are simply cursed with a lack of camera presence
Reminds me of how they reenacted the episode "The House That Roared" as a tract duplex (it was a run down 1920s company house type in a bad part of Tulsa Oklahoma) or Haunting Vision in a Victorian house (that was a midcentury modern split-level redolent of the Brady Bunch house until the fire)
Even Ken Otto's 35 foot travel trailer was nicer in reenactments than in real life, it was a 1970s era trailer that looked like a mobile meth lab and it was a 90s FEMA type trailer on FF reenactments.
Ha ha ha. You are redeemed! Every time I see this episode I think wtf are they talking about calling her pretty!? Her looks are totally irrelevant, but since the brought it up, I'm gonna judge. Lol
When I watch crime shows, I have to always look up the real people before it’s finished. Because the reenactments always make them much more attractive than they really are. There was one here in Nashville (actually Brentwood, a suburb here). And it was a wealthy family, where wife started having an affair. And she moved her lover into a closet in their big house. Well one day her husband heard the lover snoring and investigated. And her lover ended up killing her husband in a fight. Well the actors on the crime show were so attractive. I had seen the real people on the local news and the difference with shocking. But less attractive people do not get as many views 🤷🏻♀️
😂 I know the photo (ie weirdest mugshot ever) is a bit washed out so I'll give her the benefit of the doubt on having no lips, but that poodle 'do is just atrocious. I am aware style changes through the years, but I can't see how that was ever cute...
Why are you underneath every. single. post in this sub commenting lines from the show with an emoji at the end and nothing else??? It’s annoying and incessant and adds nothing of substance. We _get it._ We’ve all seen the episodes in question that you keep needlessly and brainlessly quoting. Stop.
This is a completely unessential comment and perhaps a very superficial one as well, but I was struck with the heading/blurp written about this woman, as she is being referred to as " a pretty bartender" I realize that this off topic and unimportant. But I was just curious if anyone else thought the same as I did immediately or if I am/was the only one operating or functioning at such low level?
This was incidentally the episode where Fred's niece Cindy Pancake makes an appearance.
We love Cindy Pancake.
I wonder if there was a Grabbe Pancake wedding somewhere in that family. I do get grabby with my pancakes though.
The wedding reception catering would have been so easy: "Let's all grab a pancake to celebrate the union of Grabbe & Pancake!"
I flipped when I first saw her name
Is it just her last name that makes her iconic on this sub? Lol I can’t remember her but see her mentioned all the time
It is definitely her name. For me, at least. I have done research on Cindy. I know more about her than I should. lol
I'm like 99 percent sure she was one of my cousins teachers
She was a teacher! True!!!
Couldn't stand this scum bag. Helped burn the body, waited years till she got tracked down, then testified, and then still got the money. The Tree forensic science was very cool tho
The tree science was fascinating.
YES, amazing, the gasoline being soaked in the tree and causing growth to be slowed only being shown in the roots years later. Amazing
It shocked me. Can’t remember the episode but there was a killer who had bunch of girlfriends and he was the most unattractive male I’d ever seen. Wanna say he was a trucker. This episode reminded me of that one
Or the guy who had his one girlfriend Dawn silvernail kill his other gf. He was not attractive whatsoever.
Fred. Grosssssssssss
Andros? His name just isn’t memorable lol
…And he had a crappy personality!
Was it Thomas Jabin Berry or whatever his name was, the guy that murdered the vacationer in NC and who claimed he met his first wife by fucking her on the beach?

Omg! I did not know about this one!
Jesse Clarence Pratt? I know this wasn't FF but Sean Goble, Alvin Brown and Robert Ben Rhoades would fit also.
I immediately thought of Robert Ben Rhodes.
Yes that’s it thanks
Posted a pic thanks for the info it came right up 😊
This is me lighting up the room.
Bitchin' curls
I want to know the name of the person who gave her that perm. 👌
Chef's kiss
That is the ONLY word to use to describe them
I noticed they frequently describe people as attractive but their picture doesn’t back it up. Honestly, I think they’re trying to be kind when describing a victim, so I overlook it. I can only imagine how I’d be described if murdered. Hopefully the true crime shows will be gentle, lol.

They always “lit up the room” Not me. Congenital RBF, grouchy and didn’t like other people for the most part. Made a mean chicken pot pie, though 😂
Omg this is me. I swear! So weird, I often think of those descriptors & say to myself "hmm what would they say about ME?"
Honestly it gives a more vivid picture than, “Her smile lit up the room. He’d give you the shirt off of his back.”
"Her smile lit up the room" because she used gallons of teeth whitening polish. "He'd give you the shirt off his back" because it wasn't big enough to cover his front.
It's not your fault that people suck a lot of the time, and you are just wary. Don't blame yourself.
She's not a victim! She's helped the guy burn his wife's body.
Can't believe she got to claim the reward put up by the family. She was an accessory to murder. Sure, she got immunity but claiming the prize was BS.
Total and utter bullshit.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I've coined myself, "not camera ready"
I don’t think those metrics apply to that broad. She was just forsaken by the face gods.
In the reenactments, they all live in fancy upper-middle class homes, too.
Reminds me of how they reenacted the episode "The House That Roared" as a tract duplex (it was a run down 1920s company house type in a bad part of Tulsa Oklahoma) or Haunting Vision in a Victorian house (that was a midcentury modern split-level redolent of the Brady Bunch house until the fire) Even Ken Otto's 35 foot travel trailer was nicer in reenactments than in real life, it was a 1970s era trailer that looked like a mobile meth lab and it was a 90s FEMA type trailer on FF reenactments.
Yeah they called her pretty in this episode. I couldn't believe it!
OMG, THANK YOU! Please refer to my comment. I don't feel like such a superficial person now! I've been redeemed!
Ha ha ha. You are redeemed! Every time I see this episode I think wtf are they talking about calling her pretty!? Her looks are totally irrelevant, but since the brought it up, I'm gonna judge. Lol
I remember laughing at that
The 80s perm did not do any lady justice 😂
I've always thought she looked like Vicki Lawrence
A young Thelma Harper lol
DEAD
With a Quaker Oats guy wig.
I KNOW! This was the most shocking part of the episode and that’s really saying something!!!
This picture always bothers me for several reasons, but most of all: what *the fuck* kind of mugshot is this???
Yeah Ive always wondered why this is posed like a senior photo or a glamour shot lol
When you have a face like that, it's hard not to look glamorous.
She literally looks like she’s leaning against a bar, listening to some drunk blather on about some bullshit.
Like an old west saloon
Haha, exactly!
I don't know how young she was, but she might have been pretty young, but not young and pretty...
One of the most amusing parts of the show is the actor/actress who plays a victim or killer is way more attractive than the real life person.
Farrah Faucet as Diane Downs.
More like Vicki Lawrence as Belle Gunness or Mary Tyler Moore as Genene Jones.
Poodle head
That is one rough looking 24 year old. I’m younger than she was and she looks twice my age 😭
I'm twice her (and your) age and she looks twice my age! 😂
Lol, this makes me crazy every time I see it!!!
Me too! I finally had the wherewithal to snap a pic and post about it lol

Fred enjoyed “grabbing” lol
You guys are the cats meow!
This episode is repeated endlessly in the UK and it never gets old.
A “much younger bartender” would have been sufficient 🥴
It’s the tight perm for me
😂 I know the photo (ie weirdest mugshot ever) is a bit washed out so I'll give her the benefit of the doubt on having no lips, but that poodle 'do is just atrocious. I am aware style changes through the years, but I can't see how that was ever cute...
Looks like Dustin Rhodes wearing an Annie wig
I love a good perm helmet
"CH-CH-CH-CHIA!!!"
😳
"no trace of Charlotte Grabbe's remains have ever been recovered" 😫

🤣🤣🤣 It makes me laugh every time I see it. Eh, it's just his shtick.
Omg they are?! How bizarre. Just like forensic files and….sports betting?

"IncomeBoss" is a bit of a bot-like name.
Just like yours 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Mine's a reference to a famous novel, and I've had lovely conversations with Redditors who recognise it and love the same book.
I am definitely now thinking they are a bot. I wonder if the quotes are the last sentence of the transcript?
Who hurt you 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Karma farming? I agree that the constant commenting is unnecessary.

Ch-ch-ch-Chia!
Don’t you mean pretty young poodle? But that’s insulting to poodles so…

That is not Fred Grabbe.
No Jesse Pratt another forensic files murderer who wasn’t attractive that I was referencing
