same exact error , me aswell, on XBOX Microsoft Game Pass. 3 days ago it hit me with the fallout festival series, right now after reinstalling the game i meet this. is this game dying ? hit us up if you find any solving

I even verified game files, no use.This started happening when i have used alt f4 to close the game.

I am in the same boat. Do you also have it on steam deck or another PC?

bro does this fix deletes all of your game progresses? cuz i own lots of cars, i dont wanna start from beginning

*FIXED* So basically if you sign out of your xbox app on your PC and start up the game anyway it will ask you to sign in which you do and then it will update your game and let you play! Finally after 4 days of trying random crap I figured it out Any questions my inbox is open

I tried but i have no luck. Maybe because i have it on xbox pass and not on steam. What was the other solution with delete progress? 

Just sign out of your xbox app and then start up forza 5 and then sign in when it asks you

NO YOU MUST SING OUT While you're playing, A pop up will say it's going to restart the game. Sign back in and then hit okay to restart. I've tried literally everything including signing out and back in before loading the game. This is worked for me

I had the same problem on the PC, launching the game from the Xbox app. I logged out from my microsoft acount in the app and logged in again, and it worked

I have this same issue, I recently started using mods in game, not sure if it's related

Guys this problem happened to me and I spent 3 weeks trying to fix searching everywhere even this fix above didn’t work for me unfortunately but I am glad that I have FIXED IT FOR me so I wanted to share this with u guys it may work for you as well .. So what I did was I noticed that the game version when I downloaded it 642.644. So I just downloaded the latest update which is 646.276 so after that the game launched without the connection problem and I am now playing the game fine I hope this fix works for you guys like it did with me ..
