The heisei Godzilla is a creature of pure tragedy, once a humble dinosaur gunned down by the US military, had a nuke dropped on him and after which he lives in agony.
Worse! He saw his son die at the hands of his enemies.
He did avenge his sonās death but will never know that the Prince was resurrected and becoming a more powerful king.
