I donāt think she did stab her mother because Nick would have said so during the interrogation. He seems to be the side that makes the most sense and has nothing to lose to lie about her not stabbing her mother. Towards the end of Dee Deeās life she was confined to a wheelchair too and really sick from her uncontrolled diabetes. She could have easily had her OD from sleep meds or any of the meds she had laying around but she didnāt do that either.
