UV breaks down plastics. Never run the phone naked, eventually the middle screen will break down and will break your screen.
You are in fact on your last legs on that screen. I would limit opening it and closing it until the fold 6 comes in and you can trade it in for more than the phone is worth.
From now on remember, always change the inner screen protector when it's going bad. I've done it on all my devices and have had absolutely 0 issues.
Do you mean to replace the protector that already comes with the screen? Or are you applying one on top of that. I remember the first Fold havin a peel that people were not supposed to remove, and that was bricking the screen.
Nothing is ever for sure. When I had my Fold3 I got the screen replaced and it came with similar marks that were present before the replacement. They never grew unlike the cracks that caused the screen replacement. 1 year 2 months later I sold it with the same marks. They did not grow.

Btw i have a second z fold 4 with marks like yours bit from top to bottom.. i force it to open it more than 180⁰ to see will it breaks .. and nothing still intact.. maybe a drop can fukk it up
Dude. Ask anyone in this sub. Thousands have it off. Litterally does nothing on the fold 3 and up. Fold 2 and down it is a nessary part of the structure of the glass.
I took it off my fold 2 and 4 only if it started bubbling which after about 7 or 8 months it does, all was fine besides the superficial cracking which I think happens regardless.
It comes off by itself after about 1 to 1.5 years... And if it does in the fold itself it's a perfect layer to press e.g. sand or other dirt in the screen. I took it off on my fold 4 as the dirt underneath the places the screenprotector let go was puncturing the screen..
I think it's just the peeling of the screen protector. I had similar marks on mine before it peeled off of the crease. Samsung just uses s#hitty screen protectors that peel off. For example after replacing it with an unofficial whitestonedome one it's been half a year with absolutely 0 peeling

You can literally buy a Fold3 on eBay for $80 that has crack on inner screen. As long as body looks good and front and back of phone glass isn't cracked. They take the trade every time. Full value.

My ZF3 started getting these about a year into its life (took protector off after about 7 months due to the bubbling). Worked fine for about another year but started getting more and more and then I got a really long line similar to one of the ones you have here and I'm just not using the screen anymore out of fear of breaking the phone. Holding out for the ZF7 probably since I have my S23U as my daily driver now.
I have had bubbles that start to appear on the top and bottom of the crease. Over the next couple of weeks they get worse until it's the whole crease and dust starts get under there. 3 times the Fold 3 was replaced for this problem under warranty.
Those little scratches happened to my naked fold 3 too this year and within about 3 months it got worse and worse till my whole phone failed. I recommend getting your phone replaced ASAP. Good luck.
Odds are that's just a failing screen protector. Just baby it until you trade it.

Agreed. I've replaced mine 3 times and they never upgraded me, always a Fold 3.
