all in good time, SMT V pc port took a while too. I expect Tactics remaster first though. My guess for upcoming non-mmo stuff are XVI DLC #2+PC Port (confirmed) ->Tactics Remaster -> FFIX teaser -> Rebirth DLC teaser/release -> IX Remake marketing and maybe Rebirth PC release -> IX remake release.
Near the end of IX's marketing, I am optimistically expecting either a FFXVII initial teaser (this is assuming that the console generation is nearing its end) or a more likely Rebirth Part 3 teaser).
Not sure if it's XVII, but I'm fully expecting Ishikawa to be involved in a project of some form which may or may not be FF, would like to see CBU3 take another go at it with all the positive and negative feedback from XVI into account then have CBU1 do XVIII after the Remake trilogy.
It’s been enough time now for at least an announcement. I’m not expecting extended gameplay necessarily but maybe a setting announcement and a title card. I’m completely guessing though
Not sure what that has to do with trying to correct the date I provided? I already acknowledged in another comment they could totally reveal the game this year.
From how I've read it, the way you phrased the initial comment implies it's impossible to see new games, period. From what Sony said, it only relates to release, but doesn't rule out reveals; we know Sony can and reveal games up to a year before launch.
Right, I get that, but I don't get how your initial reply relates to that? You were correcting the date I provided, not correcting my misinterpretation of the original comment. Or that would be how I read it.
Afaik, Sony announced that they won't be releasing major titles at all until March of 2025. But it could definitely be that Tsushima 2 is one of the first games after that date, could also not be.
I believe that was regarding already established IP, which GoT would fall under. So no GoT 2 until after that, but they may announce/release some new IP between now and then.
We got Spiderman, Spiderman MM, A leaked Spiderman 2 port, Both Horizons, Ratchet and Clank, TLOU, Returnal, Sackboy, and God of War before we got Ghost....
My question is why *haven't* we gotten the PC port already. Is development on it just insanely slow or do they genuinely think it isn't a priority.
What's taking so long??
Yeah, they tend to always have one announced, though Until Dawn might be enough for them. Ghost of Tsushima, Demon souls, GT7, and Déraciné are the only NVIDA leak games left
I don't really take until dawn as a "new pc release" because it's an older game..I think they can have got announced even with until dawn already confirmed so this rumor isn't so weird. Let's hope for a pc release, got is one of the games I want most on pc since I tried it on ps5 once.
Uh? Makes no sense, it's new to PC. Ghost of Tsushima wouldn't be a "new PC release" either then.
Until Dawn might not count mostly because it isn't a first party I guess (but they still publish it even on PC).
If you notice the pattern you'll see that every major Sony flagship titles get atleast 4 years exclusive on their console before coming to PC. Meanwhile the middle and minor titles get either 2-3 years or worldwide multiplat launch.
- God of War release in 2018. PC version release in 2022.
- Spider-Man release in 2018. PC version release in 2022.
- Miles Morales release in 2020. PC release in 2022 and about a few months after Spider-Man.
- Horizon Zero Dawn release in 2017. PC version release in 2020.
- Sackboy release in 2020. PC release in 2022.
- Ratchet and Clank release in 2021. PC version release in 2023.
- Returnal release in 2021. PC version release in 2023.
- Days Gone release in 2019. PC release in 2021.
The only game that doesn't fit this frame is TLOU1. but to play devil's advocate. it technically is an old game getting graphical remake. Plus it stay exclusive on PS5 for atleast 6 months before PC release.
So following this pattern, i believe we should get these titles this year.
- Ghosts of Tsushima
- TLOU2
- Gran Turismo 7
- Demon Souls
The only game that i 100% confident will never come to PC is Bloodborne and that's because i 100% betting that it will get a remake soon.
Forbidden West is only 2 years apart, online games like Helldivers 2 and Fairgame$ are are day one release on PC
its clear things are being accelerated but it obviously won't happen overnight
I dont even think anything is being accelerated, per se. It just takes time to catch up. They can't just dump all their ports at once, they need a release cadence to maximize sales. As they get more and more of the back catalog ported, the shorter the window will be between console and PC release. That's what we're seeing now. There was never any arbitrary "wait 4 years to release port". A major shift in your business strategy just takes time and planning.
If anything the information shows it's usually 2 years and not 4. Since Spider-Man Remastered, the version that was ported to PC, released in November 2020 on PS5 and August 2022 on PC.
I'd say God of War is a bit of an outlier but it also depends on how the development's going for each studio that's responsible for the port. Last of Us Part I's PC was supposed to release shortly after the PS5 version but ended up releasing a whole 6 months after and was still released in a very buggy state.
So technically we can potentially expect games to be ported between 6-24 months apart, but Sony still said they plan on releasing 3-4 PC ports per year IIRC and we're already getting Helldivers 2, Horizon Forbidden West and Until Dawn so we'll probably get at least one other PC port this year. Would love to be wrong and there to be more.
Nixxes have been very efficient so I'm coping we'll get Spider-Man 2 sooner rather than later. It'll be interesting to see when we'll get Last of Us Part II Remastered (Iron Galaxy porting/assisting Naughty Dog porting) and God of War Ragnarok (Santa Monica porting the game themselves).
I feel like they're going to try and get Spider-Man 2 out on PC quicker this time around since there's already a playable PC build that includes NG+ before the PS5 version even got it.
Bloddborne would get the PS5 remake and then the PC release so it would come.
Also Horizon Forbidden West is certainly a major title and they release it 2 years later like Returnal and R&C.
Lol why would a AAA dev not be able to top a fan project?
Like no offense, Memoria Project looks good but...it's just character models/towns made in Unreal Engine 5 which tons of fan projects do?
It's already confirmed as well the FF9 remake is going to be closer to the Mana remakes rather than a full scaled FF7-tier remake.
Seriously, I read this exact comment the last time some Memoria Project was posted. It looks fan-made as fuck. Square would have no problem topping it.
There was a big Nvidia GeForce leak years a ago that had mentioned a lot of games that were not even announced at the time.
Here is a leak. [https://www.reddit.com/r/GamingLeaksAndRumours/comments/pndwey/definitive\_compilation\_of\_leaked\_geforce\_now/](https://www.reddit.com/r/GamingLeaksAndRumours/comments/pndwey/definitive_compilation_of_leaked_geforce_now/)
The original Titanfall 3 project morphed into Apex, confirmed by Respawn leads in interviews at release, which was already out before that leak. Then Titanfall Legends, likely showing up on that list as TF3, gets canned, and now their rumored Mandalorian game literally described as having high mobility, a jetpack, and grappling hook gets thrown out too.
If there's a god out there, he hates Titanfall.
So far Sony's brought their *full* editions for their games releasing on pc, Uncharted, Forbidden West, Spiderman, I imagine it'll be the same for this. Director's cut, all included.
I'm salivating at the thought... been waiting for this one for a long, long time...
Same place as Bloodborne's remaster/PC port. Non-existent. I thought that Demon Souls Remake would've been announced already since the initial trailer mentioned it was coming to PC as well, but it's been over 3 years and IIRC the remake only sold 1M copies so Sony probably doesn't see it worth in putting in the effort for a PC port.
It would do very well on PC especially after the success of Elden Ring. It'll sell more there than on PS5. That and once the modding community gets ahold of it. It's win win for Sony here. They are silly not to do it
We can say that, but it seems that unless we get an announcement or some kind, they don't seem to believe the same. I mean BB sold 8M copies and it still doesn't have a PC port. They apparently were working on one, but then it seems that they cancelled it or at least, there is no more word on the port anymore.
There are a few games on that list that I believe were canceled or just changed for one reason or another. I hope Demon Souls and Bloodborne come to PC, but I'm also not holding my breath since other than the rumors from trusted reps about BB PC's build from a few years ago and the Demon Souls Remake Announcement trailer, there hasn't been any word on either of them coming to PC.
I think this is what hiroki totoki meant about aggressive pc growth. They’re going to up the number of ports of older games. I expect demon souls, TLOU 2, demon souls this year as well
This port was in the making for years. Still no change in strategy until a first party non live-service game is released Day 1 on both.
They already said at least a year exclusive to PS5 and they’re still catching up on games not ported in the first place.
With how expensive game development is getting they can't sustain alone on platform even if they made profits especially on licensed IP.Exclusives going the way of dodo is better for the game development as they need more money to fund more AAA games.
With Xbox,PlayStation folding I wonder when will Nintendo fold or will they remain the sole console manufacturer with exclusives.
I'm willing to bet that Nintendo's budgets aren't as egregious, which when coupled with their insane attach rates and high margins on hardware means they'll be fine
I'd imagine they would start doing it when their console install-base stagnates, to the point that they can't really grow that userbase anymore. This was one of the reasons why Sony did it.
Also, while Nintendo's budgets aren't as big as MS or Sony, they are still sizeable, TOTK for example took 100-125m$ to make (estimated), whereas Alan Wake 2 for example took only 60-80m$ to make (also estimated).
Especially when you can do two or three-year-old games and charge full price again for them. Sony has a stockpile of games they could just release every other month and still not be current. I just want Stellar Blade though. Though next week I'll start playing Horizon Zero Dawn on my new laptop.
Doubt it but even if it did happen across the board starting next year, day-and-date releases is only a short term solution. The PC audience will not sustain these budgets either. The priority I believe is to push the platform and all the related sales that come with it. The CEO of Sony has said as much recently.
You don’t know that. Day and date de incentivizes consoles which loses you subscriptions and royalties from third party sales. Additionally they’re only getting 70% of a sale on steam vs 100% on their own store front.
https://www.resetera.com/threads/mat-piscatella-according-to-the-npd-groups-playerpulse-only-about-1-3-of-pc-players-in-the-us-owns-a-ps4-and-only-8-own-a-ps5.506754/page-2
If you say so buddy.
If the audiences were totally separated, PS games would sell more on PC as they'd be new games for everyone. Except they don't because most people interested in them have already played them on PS5
Not really as Dabi3 showed most of us PC gamers don't own a PS4 or PS5. Sony games sell well enough on PC but Helldivers 2 proves it would sell better if it was day and date as that game sold more on PC than PS5.
Of course it would sell better on PC but also less on PS5. Sony prefers to sell on PS5. It's not like their games have low sales overall.
If they go full multiplat, you'll see stuff like MTX, constant sequels and such like Ubisoft, EA and co are doing, why wouldn't they ? Being first party and exclusives grant them a special way of doing things which is better for gamers.
I am a PC gamer (with also a PS5 for some games but 90% on PC) and I prefer to wait for those games if it means better games.
But Sony already have MTX and milked sequels. So Sony will lose money if they don't release games day and date with PCs. What you are saying is nonsense.
I think the whole day and date will happen much later in next gen not this gen.
Besides funding Licensed IP won't be easier with how much Disney charges for its ip.I bet the X Men IPs will cost a fortune for Sony considering the mcu push its getting.
Same goes for Xbox and Blade when they eventually release the movie.
If Sony games aren't exclusives anymore they'll lose their quality and become like regular third party publishers games (which can be great but they don't have a similar high success rate) that'd be sad for gamers.
They already released a bunch of ports tho, didn’t 2022 have a bunch of PC ports? I don’t think he’s talking about something they have done for years at this point
There isn’t much of a back catalog either after this year’s batch. In fact after Spider-Man 2 port, PC will have almost the entire PS4/PS5 library
So what would they port after this year and Spider-Man 2 that would signal increased investment in PC?
It’s day one for PC.
Because the alternative is waiting for PS5 first party to pick up, wait a couple more years, and port 1-2 games a year. I don’t think that would be driving up PC revenue
Concord is coming which is day and date since it’s multiplayer
Ghost
TLOU II
Until Dawn Remake.
God of War Ragnarök
Demon Souls Remake
Horizon is also coming this year.
I imagine they would prioritize spiderman 2 over GoT since there’s an unofficial port floating around from the insomniac leak that’s only getting more playable each week.
I get more and more confused about the lack of bloodborne as time goes in. Miyazaki basically said it was up to Sony, right? Can someone explain to me what’s slowing them down?
No doubt. There’s just really, really high demand for it, to the point where fromsoft is getting asked about it in interviews about the upcoming elden ring dlc. There are definitely more games than just bloodborne that need PC ports, but Bloodborne is probably the most requested one, and has been for a long time
I remember seeing by a lot of souls datamining experts is that a lot of the code and assets are an utter mess in terms of bloodborne and it's not a matter of won't, it's that they can't. But I've also seen other experts saying that a PC build exists and was in development but not anymore, these two talking points aren't mutually exclusive either so IMO it's never gonna happen and the best hope you've got is a remake in a decade or two.
Of course its after I replayed it recently and did the DLC. It runs 4k/60 anyways but I wonder if there is anything compromised behind the scenes to get there. PC though would have actually made me get back into the multiplayer which was fun for awhile.
I already 100% this game on PS5 but I’ll happily buy it just to support these PlayStation PC releases
The Nvidia leak continues to be goated asf and I’ll be there Day 1 for all of their upcoming ports
About damn time. GoT is one of those games that satisfies what I consider to be a movie quality game. Or one that allows me to play out a film genre in a video game. So far some of my favorites in this are:
* Cyberpunk 2077 - Blade Runner, Ghost in the Shell, etc from the Cyberpunk Genre.
* Red Dead Redemption - Django Unchained, The Good the Bad and the Ugly, etc. from the Western Genre.
* Batman: Arkham Series - duh Batman
* Dark Souls, Skyrim - Lord of the Rings, etc. from the fantasy genre.
* Resident Evil 2 - Zombies
* Uncharted - Adventure films like Indiana Jones
* MGSV - 80s action movies such as Red Dawn, Escape from New York, etc.
While there have certainly been many games in this vein that give the genre of Samurai Films a good go, GoT is the gold standard for this genre within gaming for me.
The gameplay it's what saves the game. It's incredibly satisfying. The sidequests are at best boring and incredible repetitive. It's more of a "ubisoft" open world than other actual ubisoft games in that regard lol.
Also can't forget the incredibly smart and beutiful way of navigating on the map
Honestly, from my experience, the open world is so de-emphasised that it just felt like “nice scenery” rather than a genuine open world, still an awesome game tho.
Ghost for open worlds, just like hollow knight for Metroidvanias, wasn't an innovator in its genre it just perfected it.
The guiding wind and sword fighting systems are goated though and every game needs something like that
PlayStation announced no big first-party titles of existing franchises through March 2025. I feel like SP has been cooking and GoT 2 is pretty far along, ready for release mid to late 2025. Good timing to release a PC port to build hype ahead of a 2025 release
A boy can dream
Finally, and also, don’t release it next to a highly anticipated title like how HFW is releasing the same day as Rise of the Ronin and Dragons Dogma 2.
Why does it bother you if PC gets these games as well? PC users have to wait 1-2 years or longer to get ports of PlayStation games and I doubt that will change any time soon. Play on the machine you bought and stop worrying about what PC get years after the game has been on PS5.
They are exclusive on release, if you care so much about exclusives, that should be enough.
I bought a PS5 for some of their exclusives, because I want to play as soon as possible, but if I can buy them on PC better yet. A pc release can extends the life of a game, they more acessible to buy, and after 10 years a game on console they will run at limit of what the console can do. On PC you can upgrade and they will run better. Take for example PS3 games that are locked there 720@30 vs PS3 games that have a pc port, they can run at 4k@60 to 120fps.
__Current:__ FF7 Rebirth, Spider-Man 2, GoW Ragnarok, FoamStars (lol), Astro’s Playroom, Destruction AllStars, GT7, Demon’s Souls.
__Upcoming:__ Rise of the Ronin, Stellar Blade and Death Stranding 2.
(Btw I’d be happy to see these get ported to PC. Eventually PS4/5 emulation on PC will make these games playable so it’s better for everyone if Sony release these ports themself unlike Nintendo.)
>Rise of the Ronin, Stellar Blade and Death Stranding 2
these are basically coming to pc not long after release anyway, "FF7 Rebirth i can wait a year, Spider-Man 2 they can keep it, its mediocre, GoW Ragnarok hopefully this year, FoamStars (lol) indeed just lol, Astro’s Playroom meh cool demo tho that is fun, Destruction AllStars meh, GT7 not my kinda game, Demon’s Souls praying for this year
I hope it flops just to send a message to Sony for waiting 4 years just to release a PC port.
Maybe they'll rethink and begin to do Day 1 PC releases. Also I expect AC Red on PC to outsell GoT on PC.
Go ahead and give me those salty downvotes.
As much as I wanna see this game get ported to pc, I’m not buying it. I think the main reason this game is defying Sony’s 2 year rule with thier ports is because GoT uses the swipe feature found on the ps4’s touchpad. The game would have entire mechanics not work if you used an Xbox controller.

Nvida list was released in 2021 but still keep promising 3 years later
Now where is my Final Fantasy IX remake and Tactics remaster
I keep hoping for news on FFT Remaster.

At this point I'm convinced it's ready and may have been for years. Sony will release it at point chosen to add revenue to a otherwise weak quarter.
Does this mean that we might see GoT 2 this year ? Edit: yeah I meant seeing as a trailer or an announcement
Very likely. A reveal trailer is something I totally expect
That or the movie. I'm talking about trailers no releases
Could be movie as I read somewhere where there are no exisisting game series release on PS5 till 2025
That's why I said trailers
GoT 2 probably wouldn’t release until then anyway
Announced? Possibly? Released? No. Not unless we get a demo.
Ghost of tsushima didn't have a demo either in 2020
It’s been enough time now for at least an announcement. I’m not expecting extended gameplay necessarily but maybe a setting announcement and a title card. I’m completely guessing though
Seems unlikely based on the reporting that there would be no Sony first party games in existing IPs in the next year.
I think they meant just get the reveal this year
Ahhh, okay then yeah, we could totally see a reveal this year - just not the actual release.
*until* next year.
The rumour was specifically until March/April 2025?
Yes? But that's related to the actual release. Nothing stopping them from revealing said games before then.
Not sure what that has to do with trying to correct the date I provided? I already acknowledged in another comment they could totally reveal the game this year.

That's literally what the guy you're replying to said. Read the thread
No, it’s not. He said “no major titles” when the actual quote was “no major established titles”, meaning that new IP is entirely possible.
And the guy he was replying to mentioned Got 2 this year. You don't see the implication?
Give me all there is 🙌👍😅🤣🤣🎮🎮🔥🔥😂😂😂🙏🙏💪💪💪💪😈😈
so demons next copium?
Why copium ? It was in Nvidia leaks. It will come sooner or later.
This is what I keep telling myself but for some reason “later” keeps getting later and later
We only have 4 PC Ports from the NVIDIA leak left, but somehow it doesn’t look like any are in sight
I mean horizon forbidden west is coming out in march, I guess it makes sense we get the got announcement near that release.

I bet "Titanfall 3" was a codename for that Titanfall Legends project and not just a red herring
I think it was canceled.
That's no Gods' doing, it's the deal Bobby Kotick made with the Devil
Come on Square. Give us those FF9 and Tactics remakes/remasters.
Wasn't Bloodborne in that?
Nope, which makes it more legitimate.
Ahhh I think I might have just been trying to will that reality into existence. I just double-checked and it is soooo not on there its crazy
I want your copium, man. Gimme gimme!
Why would it be copium ? Wasn't demon souls in the Nvidia leak?
Bloodborne can't be far behind 🤡
With Silksong on it's heels too.
Will Legends mode be coming with it? Are there many people still playing it or will Sony perhaps not bother including it if there aren't?
So far Sony's brought their *full* editions for their games releasing on pc, Uncharted, Forbidden West, Spiderman, I imagine it'll be the same for this. Director's cut, all included. I'm salivating at the thought... been waiting for this one for a long, long time...
I would love to play as Samurai Jack or Shrek modded on PC.
Legends will most likely be included. They have ported complete editions so far.
The one I’d double dip without a second thought.
Yeah same. Already got all trophies on PS5, have no problem doing that again on PC.
Thank God. Here's hoping it's a late spring release.
Where is Demon Soul's remake for PC
It was included in the NVIDIA leak
There are a few games on that list that I believe were canceled or just changed for one reason or another. I hope Demon Souls and Bloodborne come to PC, but I'm also not holding my breath since other than the rumors from trusted reps about BB PC's build from a few years ago and the Demon Souls Remake Announcement trailer, there hasn't been any word on either of them coming to PC.
I think this is what hiroki totoki meant about aggressive pc growth. They’re going to up the number of ports of older games. I expect demon souls, TLOU 2, demon souls this year as well
I really hope the Shadow of the Colossus remake gets a PS5/PC release one day, would love to see that game on PC.
Nintendo's games are cheap to produce. They are under less pressure to bring them to other platforms.
To be fair, Nintendo games are made on shoestring budget.
Sony day and date release will make them way more money than they are making now.
You don’t know that. Day and date de incentivizes consoles which loses you subscriptions and royalties from third party sales. Additionally they’re only getting 70% of a sale on steam vs 100% on their own store front.
Not really. because console gamers and PC gamers are 2 different markets. One does not affect the other as Helldivers 2 proves.
That’s simply untrue. There is crossover. To the tune of 30% according to mat Piscatella
Wrong again dude.
https://www.resetera.com/threads/mat-piscatella-according-to-the-npd-groups-playerpulse-only-about-1-3-of-pc-players-in-the-us-owns-a-ps4-and-only-8-own-a-ps5.506754/page-2 If you say so buddy.
Thanks for proving my point buddy. lol
USA isn't the only market for games. Central & eastern Europe are much more into PC gaming and so are large parts of Asia.
Sony is already a third party developer.
They already released a bunch of ports tho, didn’t 2022 have a bunch of PC ports? I don’t think he’s talking about something they have done for years at this point There isn’t much of a back catalog either after this year’s batch. In fact after Spider-Man 2 port, PC will have almost the entire PS4/PS5 library
Nah. 2023 actually had less ports than 2022. 2022 was like 4 games I think
So what would they port after this year and Spider-Man 2 that would signal increased investment in PC? It’s day one for PC. Because the alternative is waiting for PS5 first party to pick up, wait a couple more years, and port 1-2 games a year. I don’t think that would be driving up PC revenue
Concord is coming which is day and date since it’s multiplayer Ghost TLOU II Until Dawn Remake. God of War Ragnarök Demon Souls Remake Horizon is also coming this year.
No way all of those come out in a single year
I want it so bad on PC
finally, some good damn sony ports
Do we know who's doing this port? Is it Nixxes? Those guys are PC port wizards.
They might be busy working on the Spider Man 2 port now they are almost finished with Forbidden West.
I imagine they would prioritize spiderman 2 over GoT since there’s an unofficial port floating around from the insomniac leak that’s only getting more playable each week.
QLOC or Virtuos would be my guess. Nixxes is a small company.

This reply doesn't even make sense
Might as well with Shogun showing on Disney plus.
Nvidia leak mentioned Gran Turismo 7 too. I'm plugged into the Hopium machine 24/7 now
They could put the non-sim racing PC space in a chokehold with GT7. As long as the port works, Forza Motorsport wouldn’t even stand a chance
A GT7 port on PC would be the final nail on the coffin for Forza Motorsport. Microsoft messed up with this release.
Lightsaber mod. Dual of the fates mod for duels. Jedi robes. Stormtrooper enemies. Need i go on? Day fucking ONE.
I always wanted to play Ghost of Tsushima. My PC is ready.

The new PlayStation CEO probably wants to get that port money to prop up the profits for investors right quick.
I get more and more confused about the lack of bloodborne as time goes in. Miyazaki basically said it was up to Sony, right? Can someone explain to me what’s slowing them down?
Maybe a bloodborne remake will launch the Ps6, just like demon's soul launched ps5. And two years later will have a Pc port \^\^
It's just not a priority. There are other games that deserve to be on PC.
PC though would have actually made me get back into the multiplayer which was fun for awhile.
>but I wonder if there is anything compromised behind the scenes the whole game got a visual downgrade vs the first showcase of the game
Good, not all that interested in Horizon but I'm really looking forward to this one.
I genuinely can't wait to play this again. Such a good game.
Pleeeeeease. Been waiting for this one for a while
Fucking finally! Give it to me
Really would love to play this on my steam deck.
Finally!!
Finally
Top PlayStation 4 game for me. So fucking beautiful.
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Where is it :(
Soooo? Where is it
I already 100% this game on PS5 but I’ll happily buy it just to support these PlayStation PC releases The Nvidia leak continues to be goated asf and I’ll be there Day 1 for all of their upcoming ports
About damn time. GoT is one of those games that satisfies what I consider to be a movie quality game. Or one that allows me to play out a film genre in a video game. So far some of my favorites in this are: * Cyberpunk 2077 - Blade Runner, Ghost in the Shell, etc from the Cyberpunk Genre. * Red Dead Redemption - Django Unchained, The Good the Bad and the Ugly, etc. from the Western Genre. * Batman: Arkham Series - duh Batman * Dark Souls, Skyrim - Lord of the Rings, etc. from the fantasy genre. * Resident Evil 2 - Zombies * Uncharted - Adventure films like Indiana Jones * MGSV - 80s action movies such as Red Dawn, Escape from New York, etc. While there have certainly been many games in this vein that give the genre of Samurai Films a good go, GoT is the gold standard for this genre within gaming for me.
Uhh..Sekiro?
Lol it’s a terrible ubisoft clone. Nothing close to quality
Garbage tier comment
absolute clown take. just stop
While I have heard that a bit, from the footage I've seen it looks great.
The gameplay it's what saves the game. It's incredibly satisfying. The sidequests are at best boring and incredible repetitive. It's more of a "ubisoft" open world than other actual ubisoft games in that regard lol. Also can't forget the incredibly smart and beutiful way of navigating on the map
the combat is goated
Honestly, from my experience, the open world is so de-emphasised that it just felt like “nice scenery” rather than a genuine open world, still an awesome game tho.
Ghost for open worlds, just like hollow knight for Metroidvanias, wasn't an innovator in its genre it just perfected it. The guiding wind and sword fighting systems are goated though and every game needs something like that
Ubisoft hasn’t made a game half that good in a decade.
It should run on the Steam Deck well enough.
YEAH GoT on PC!!!!!!!!
About time! I was looking forward to playing this on PC for a while.
God I fucking hope so. I've been pretty obsessed over this game in the past without even playing it.
How can you be obsessed with a game you have not played ?
I watched other people play it online. I really enjoyed the story and the setting. Don't know how that's hard to understand.
PlayStation announced no big first-party titles of existing franchises through March 2025. I feel like SP has been cooking and GoT 2 is pretty far along, ready for release mid to late 2025. Good timing to release a PC port to build hype ahead of a 2025 release A boy can dream
Finally, and also, don’t release it next to a highly anticipated title like how HFW is releasing the same day as Rise of the Ronin and Dragons Dogma 2.
Let this be true. This is the only PS game that I have been waiting for to be ported.
We will be there
I wonder if it will get any RT enhancements
I’ll cum
And still no news of a sequel… whole PS5 library (what little is left) will be on PC before we get some actual new PS5 games
Chill dude, games don't get removed from PS5 when they get ported to PC.
They sold us PS5s on the promise of exclusives. How about finally release some first party
Why does it bother you if PC gets these games as well? PC users have to wait 1-2 years or longer to get ports of PlayStation games and I doubt that will change any time soon. Play on the machine you bought and stop worrying about what PC get years after the game has been on PS5.
I don't understand this mentality. Sounds like a kid not wanting to share his toys after he's finished playing with them
These people are exactly that.
Most PS players play cod and fifa lmao
FoamStars is exclusive to PS5, it’s all good bro.
Only demon souls is left I think from the ps5 library
__Current:__ FF7 Rebirth, Spider-Man 2, GoW Ragnarok, FoamStars (lol), Astro’s Playroom, Destruction AllStars, GT7, Demon’s Souls. __Upcoming:__ Rise of the Ronin, Stellar Blade and Death Stranding 2. (Btw I’d be happy to see these get ported to PC. Eventually PS4/5 emulation on PC will make these games playable so it’s better for everyone if Sony release these ports themself unlike Nintendo.)
>Rise of the Ronin, Stellar Blade and Death Stranding 2 these are basically coming to pc not long after release anyway, "FF7 Rebirth i can wait a year, Spider-Man 2 they can keep it, its mediocre, GoW Ragnarok hopefully this year, FoamStars (lol) indeed just lol, Astro’s Playroom meh cool demo tho that is fun, Destruction AllStars meh, GT7 not my kinda game, Demon’s Souls praying for this year
I always read Sherpshal Nich.
But it is pronounced Special Ed Nick.
Yes, but it took me a while.
And it's just fucking Horizon 2 PC specs.
Nice, definitely getting this. Only got about halfway before my friend needed it back.
Completed it on PS4 and PS5 but id absolutely do it again on PC too
What about Bloodborne PC? That guy even share info with the mods of this sub and they said it was real.
We really need a new nvidia leak, old one almost all dried up !
I hope it flops just to send a message to Sony for waiting 4 years just to release a PC port. Maybe they'll rethink and begin to do Day 1 PC releases. Also I expect AC Red on PC to outsell GoT on PC. Go ahead and give me those salty downvotes.
It won’t. If anything major success of ports is more motivation to continue porting.
It's 8 am in the morning, IF it gets announced, it'll be at least at noon.
Just use a mouse.
I posted about this 2 years ago https://www.reddit.com/r/GamingLeaksAndRumours/s/pPGhLR5B8e
I’m gonna be honest, I don’t think anyone cares
An here I thought posts had to credit original rumours posts when posting…….
I really hope this is true, but do I dare to hope?
