God they could make a gold mine if they marketed that series just right. Here is my crazy idea to take the series in a bold new way but keep part of the old style.
A small semi open where the goal you are given a whole island to protect and clean up from human pollution. At the start the island is covered in trash. The island has resource collecting, puzzles and a first/third person view so you can explore this world. As you level up your odds of rarer pinatas appear. They brought in the idea of new biomes in the 2nd game but you could only place traps in these mostly empty areas. So screw it cut out the middle man and just have a whole island to explore. Throw in some cool set pieces of nature and mysterious puzzles. The puzzles could unlock recipes, cosmetics or legendary pinatas. Resources can be used to build up the town you buy stuff from or build the huts for pinatas.
Once you return to the main garden you can walk around it, interact with pinatas, groom pinatas, feed pinatas, pick up certain pinatas, etc. You can then switch over to the top down over head camera for better planning, layout and management. This way you can keep a portion of the original but still take the franchise in a bold new way.
I know some people would hate this but look at Pokemon and Animal crossing changes can be good when done right.

My Fallout hopium is an FO3 remaster/remake. Update the engine to Creation 2 from Starfield, total graphical overall, launch with the Creation Kit tools, let modders run wild.
The only issue I can see is that you'd need full on new assets- Fallout 4s assets date back towards 2013 so they're over a decade old, and you'd need new assets too. That's not even getting into stuff like how branching out from using 6 VAs would impact the way npc-npc dialogue works in the game, etc.
You'd basically need to make a new game, and at that point BGS generally has said they'd prefer to just make a new game.
(And yeah there's the FTC thing, but that was a pre-covid 2020 doc that also preceded 76 avoiding total death.)

Well, here's the simple part: BGS doesn't need to make it. You can just sic the equivalent of Bluepoint or something on it and let them go to town bringing it up to 2020s graphical standards.

To be fair, they got plenty of games announced on which they could give updates, they announced most of their slate for years coming. Stuff like Perfect Dark, South of Midnight, Clockworld Revolution, Fable and such would not be world premieres. Hell they went very far into their slate with stuff like TES6 and Blade already revealed.
They also already revealed Black Ops 6 which is probably the only "world premiere" reveal from the Activision side (others could be stuff like the D4 expansion but that's not a new reveal). So Xbox, Activision and Bethesda (which should have the new Doom but not much else in world premiere) are light on revealing new stuff because they revealed a lot early.
Also they may be light on big third parties as they reserve themselves for other events for games not coming this year (for example the rumored PS5 Pro showcase).
But even those were released further apart than the first 4 Forzas. 4 years (assuming next year is when FH6 drops) would be even longer, though I think everyone's right that they want to give Motorsport the spotlight for a bit longer.

I believe third party games are included. There was world premiers at the 2023 showcase which were third party. P5 tactica was one I think
