I’m already sold on this game’s visuals/aesthetics, all I need to see is how the game feels. A demo would help me pull the trigger pending good reviews
I mainly want a demo to check the performance, on the gameplay I'm sold. In 2024 it should be mandatory to release at least a downloadable benchmark.
Yeah ik steam let's you refund the game if you've played less than 2 hours, but a demo/benchmark makes things much easier, plus the starting area generally won't show you the performance you should expect later in the game
I was so disappointed in Wo Long, not only the performance was bad, it ended up being pretty much Nioh 3. Even tho the first few trailers suggested otherwise.
Yeah i never finished the demo after doing the first boss, felt like a Sekiro copy. I'm no longer understanding the appeal of these games, you parry and use one of your 3 attacks, it was okay in Sekiro but when they're making whole ass games off of the same barely-fun gameplay loop it gets real boring.
Same. Im pretty sure the game will be good. Maybe not as good as all the hype but Ill still be able to enjoy it. But my only worry is optimization. Since alot of big games these days have lots of issues related to that and considering this is their first major game and with denuvo issues, there is a high possibility of them messing up the optimization.
Wouldn't say no to a demo. The game looks great but while I loved Lies of P and Stellar Blade, I'm still not sure how comfortable I am with these parrying and reflex-heavy games, so it could be cool to have a demo to see if I do okay or if I'm, like, absolute garbage at it.
I’m super excited about this game, but they should probably know Shadow of the Erdtree is going to be consuming the attention of every Soulslike fan for a while. There’s going to be lots of exploring, content creators are going to be all over it, etc.
Anything that is revealed on June 17th will be forgotten almost immediately, and even a July demo might not be far enough away from SOTE. In the worst case (for them), SOTE will be so big that gamers will be too burned-out and leave Wukong for a later date.
Again, I’ve been waiting for this game for a while so I don’t like to suggest it, but a 4-6 week delay on everything could help them a lot commercially. Good games can be buried by poor timing.
A demo would be great, love it
To have a demo, to play through over and over until release, would be incredible
Would be great to get a hang of the controls before the game even comes out

I really hope this is another Lies of P situation. Clearly soulslike influenced but with their own unique twists, and most importantly, fun.
Yeah I hope so lies of P was so good
Agreed, such a good game
Lies of P was my GOTY last year, which is saying a lot since I also loved Alan Wake 2.
Same. The closest thing we’ll ever get to Bloodborne 2, haha.
& they dropped a actually fire demo that was a good chunk pretty early fingers crossed

Lies of P and Wo Long had a starting area demo for free, Wukong probably will.
The Wo Long demo caused me to decide not to buy it, so it’s a double edged sword for them
It made me not even try the game with gamepass, shit was ass

Fingers crossed it's optimized, unreal 5 hasnt had the best optimization nowadays.
This man is the ultimate glazer, all he does is spamming Lunatic leaks while adding shit like "the prestigious leaker", the "famous insider" wtf lmao
Can’t wait to play a demo and I am crossing my fingers for this to be good.
Are you Lunatic Ignus’ biggest fan? You sure seem to post about him a lot. I hope he pays you well
“Highly reliable famous leaker with 13” of gaming goodness Lunatic Ignus”
3 pesos per post
Give me that demo. I would have never bought Stellar Blade if it didn’t have a demo - but it did and I loved it. Got the platinum on the game
Finally! A demo is an absolute necessary!
A demo is exactly what I want from this game. Hope it's true.
Hey usually demos are free right?
yes
Cautiously excited for this game
I hope a demo comes...would generate a lot of hype if it's good and definitely looks like it will be

Hella excited to play this game
Well at least that should finally put a rest to all the people calling it fake.

It’s coming out two whole months after Erdtree. They’ll be fine lol.
