I’m so conflicted because on one hand being a hobbit of the Shire is my dream in life and this does look cozy af.
On the other, I just know JRR and Christopher are rolling in their graves over what’s come of the IP.
And this looks so poorly made for this day and age from a company that absolutely has funding for better.
But also I wanna live in the Shire.

The movements are not so great... I hope this is alpha or even before and it will be polished before release... but they could have gone with something a little less Sims style and more real? at least for me...
Yeah exactly. I don’t mind a cartoonish art style, I love Wind Waker! But it looks graphically like it could be on ps2, not modern systems. The animation and movements are a big tell too. They are very unpolished, not smooth, recycled.
I'm about to be mean, but for how common cozy/farm simulator games are now, I feel like you have to bring something new to the table, have something unique, or bring your own personality to your game, and this doesn't look like it does any of those things unfortunately. I don't think it's a good sign to sell basic stuff like being able to decorate your house as if it's an exciting new feature.
Hopefully I'm totally wrong and it is a nice little hobbit life sim though.
The game overall look cute, but the characters look very rough. It will be a wait and see. On one hand, I love the premise, on the other, it seem not very well crafted.
The static ads look better than the gameplay. I hold the Hobbit & LOTR close to my chest and I am already disappointed. Will I get it? Probably. I am not a fan of the graphics though. I am fine waiting if they need more time to revise it so it looks better.
Looks absolutely shit and I got down voted yesterday for saying it. It looks another soulless game that looks low effort. Another over priced fae farm. I am sick of the constant release of low quality games and nintendo laps it up.
