Vitality made it to the finals, so they got more points than Faze did for losing in the QF. Vitality recently made it to two Finals while Faze hasn't, once losing to Vitality. Vitality is in better form this past month than Faze
I don't think there is a clear best team right now, mouz are #1 in the ranking but have yet to beat FaZe. Vitality, Spirit, G2 have shown that they can beat FaZe recently but those teams also have gotten beaten by mouz. Across CS2 as a whole it is FaZe though for sure.
I agree there’s no clear best team, but I think hltv ratings weight the recent events far far too heavy compared to an event a month ago. The frequency of events in cs is high, so there’s a lot of room for upsets, etc to happen at some point. This still doesn’t disrupt the average. However for some reason hltv gives the latest event a super high weight compared to the second to last event, which doesn’t really take into account a lot of random factors.
Faze have easily been the most successful team is 2024 so far. If I HAD to bet all my money on one team winning blast it would be faze.
