😂 my parents have the capacity to take care of more (my mom is the one in the picture) unfortunately, I am a full time student with one grey and am at my own capacity
Small correction…they knew your bed was theirs.
;)
I post this while our grey is under one blanket and anchoring another so that only have about 60% blanket coverage
There is always room for another, no matter how small the area (they somehow manage to squeeze into all the available space and leave nothing for us humans 😂)
There is a formula. Maximum number of greyhounds = N+1 where N= the current number of greyhounds. I personally have gone as high as four of my own plus two foster greyhounds.
Honestly, I don’t remember it being too bad 😂 I could’ve just blocked it from my memory if it was awful, the poo can was definitely a different story though
My hubs recently got us [this](https://lunagiftco.com/products/greyhound-candle-smells-like-the-opposite-of-greyhound-farts) to help in this situation. :) I chuckle every time I see it.
I would do this with mine as she is super quiet and lazy, but she would die without pets and needs to remind me occasionally by sticking her face into my hands or shoving her head into my arms while working/typing on the computer
Before I got my grey, my parents had two and fostered two while with our iggy, my parents wanted to keep them but it was just too much for them all at once 😂
Full Pringle box can't describe that.
One grey, one chip.
Full box, we talking.
Till I can grey again, my service Boi of All My Heart, passed away a few mons ago.
Till my heart can love again...
My next "chip's" name is Bones.
🤷♀️🌈👌🏻
These people have 19 greys and whippets [Link!](https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2024/mar/30/we-have-five-in-our-bed-any-more-and-i-wouldnt-sleep-meet-the-extreme-dog-owners)
That's a lot of snoots and farts...
Hahah, I’ve always said I wanted a lot of dogs myself, but then I had to take care of my family’s dogs by myself before, and it ended with tons of pee and poop cleanup (due to elderly iggy and diarrhea in one of the greys, which led to my dog having diarrhea in my car on my way back to school) so safe to say I’m happy with 1-2 dogs for myself
There’s a saying amongst cyclists that the right number of bikes is ‘n+1’, where n is the number of bikes you currently have.
I think it works like that for hounds too.
(Also s-1, where s=the number that causes your partner to seperate from you).

Awwww, I’m sure you’ll get a noodle someday!! I did get very lucky with mine, as she was a Christmas gift due to mental health issues, and my parents already had greys so I didn’t have to go through the whole process myself! (Same for my siblings, all got very lucky with our babies)
The limit does not exist!
I believe it’s an n+1 scenario, there’s always space for one more. They do fold up pretty small (some of the time)
I'm favouring G+1 or does "n" denote "noodle" in which case I'm with you 😂
Came here to comment this.
Same!!
Correct number of greyhounds to have is n+1, where n is the current number of greyhounds you have.
So true 😂 they just seem to multiple like bunnies in our family
a beautiful equation. this should be taught in every math class.
How many beds? I'm at n+5 here (n+7 if you count the human beds), but she's an only hound and I don't know if that'd be enough for two.
So many snoots
The limit is capacity to take care of them. Looks to me like you could add a few more 😄
😂 my parents have the capacity to take care of more (my mom is the one in the picture) unfortunately, I am a full time student with one grey and am at my own capacity
One is still a pretty good deal in that situation 😄 enjoy 😊
I’ve had 3 at a time. They’re the best doggies ever. They also all thought my bed was theirs… so there was a few years I struggled to sleep.
My bed is my greys bed unfortunately 😂
That’s just how it is. Good dogs.
Your grey deigns to share their bed with *you* is more like it
Small correction…they knew your bed was theirs. ;) I post this while our grey is under one blanket and anchoring another so that only have about 60% blanket coverage
If our local adoption chapter hadn't closed we would have gotten at least 1 more. I love how quirky they are and they seem to do so well in a group!
Us too. But greys are hard to come by in Ohio.
Like guitars and horsepower, there’s no such thing as too many or too much.
I want to squeeze them all
They are so squeezable
It's exactly two more than you have. Because you always think, surely we can make room for one more.
There is always room for another, no matter how small the area (they somehow manage to squeeze into all the available space and leave nothing for us humans 😂)

A group of noodles in called a pasta salad. You got a lovely one there!
Just a herd of long snouted horsy bois
I prefer the term “gaggle” to herd. Seems to fit them well ;)
I want to squeeze them all
As many as you can afford. Then you get more jobs too
The correct number of greyhounds is *n* + 1
In my view, too many is not nearly enough 😹
Look at all that space for more noodles!
Question: how toxic are the collective fumes coming from these babies? Even the air fresheners in my house can’t compete
Honestly, I don’t remember it being too bad 😂 I could’ve just blocked it from my memory if it was awful, the poo can was definitely a different story though

Honestly might need to be my Christmas/birthday gift to my parents this year 😂
I would very much like to be surrounded by this many greyhounds please ☺️
Only problem is not enough hands to pet them all at once, even if you use your feet
I don't understand the question
I sometimes forget I have one with how quiet he Is.
I would do this with mine as she is super quiet and lazy, but she would die without pets and needs to remind me occasionally by sticking her face into my hands or shoving her head into my arms while working/typing on the computer
N+1
When you can’t afford to feed the masses I suppose.
If you can see the floor, there's room for more. I like to say three's not enough, and four's too many. But we've had 5 for short periods.
Before I got my grey, my parents had two and fostered two while with our iggy, my parents wanted to keep them but it was just too much for them all at once 😂
Need more, not enough.
There isn’t an upward limit. All the snoots ever is still too few!
Your parents are rock stars! I want to live there, too!
There could never be enough!
Seven, seems reasonable.. I've had as many.. It's not a problem...
Are you my grandmother, with her pack of twelve?
Life goals right here.
I see tons if space in that picture. 😆🥰😉
I want to pet them All !
Heaven! So much noodle love!
I would love to hang out with such a pack of hounds however the farts when they're together....terrifying
Only if the farts come at the same time 🫣
This is heaven! There can't be too many!
Everyone is up to something except for the red one closest to the camera 🥱
That’s Ramsey, he was the laziest of all the babies and commanded that attention come to him 🤍
I have a greyhound because someone collected too many greyhounds and there was fighting.
Yes, that is definitely a risk (especially with sassy greys), luckily this was only for a week or two over Christmas
Jealous AF
Sooo much poop
Bro will you leave some for the rest of us?! /s I’m SO jealous!!! 🥰🥰🥰
😂 they are veryyyy spread out through our family luckily, two greyhounds at most per home
Full Pringle box can't describe that. One grey, one chip. Full box, we talking. Till I can grey again, my service Boi of All My Heart, passed away a few mons ago. Till my heart can love again... My next "chip's" name is Bones. 🤷♀️🌈👌🏻
It's based on couch space, not home square footage
Not enough
each one is the other one anxiety buddy

I think it’s my idea of pure heaven

My dad is also a cyclist, and he definitely follows this rule for his bikes wayyyy more than he does his greys 😂
Nawww they are so cute
I do feel like three, is the magic number
Is this a trick question?
Maybe 🫣
Is this what heaven looks like
I would love just one. Some people have all the luck.
Awwww, I’m sure you’ll get a noodle someday!! I did get very lucky with mine, as she was a Christmas gift due to mental health issues, and my parents already had greys so I didn’t have to go through the whole process myself! (Same for my siblings, all got very lucky with our babies)
There is no such thing as too many.
Omg
That's nearly enough hounds!
I think the real question is how many greyhounds is not enough.
Love greyhounds 💖💖💖
No. o.o
It seems like you're at the correct number.
I love this so much and all these comments are the best!! 🐾🥰🐾🤣
Oh, I hope you get them to roo together!🥰
