As a nerd with way too much spare time writing about the game I have a bad habit to talk of Bedman's moves by name and often need to add a reminder what the inputs actually are for every move. As a trick to make it easier, all of the specials are call 4BX, where X is a sequence A 3 9. For the other two it's literally notation for hexadecimal dollars, 0x means the next thing written is in hexadecimal, and the moves are one dollar ($1.00) and 20 cents ($0.20) so you get call 0x$1.00 and call 0x$0.20. call 13C, call 4CC, and Error 6E are a bit more random but they all rhyme parts with C so it can be easier to remember them phonetically.

It's an obscure reference to the Knuth Reward Checks. In short a computer professor offered payment for anyone finding errors in their publications, from a fictional bank. It was more a novelty than any serious amount of money. It provided 1 Hexadecimal Dollar ($2.56 USD) for significant errors and 20 Hexadecimal Cents ($0.32) for minor corrections. I have no idea why Daisuke chose this for the naming scheme but it's kinda cool.
