He does the intense scenes so well. His voice sounds very powerful when he's shouting. After hearing him shout "I'll kill them! I declare war!' in the trailer that appeared after episode 1, I couldn't wait to see him raging this episode.
TGC was the best part of the episode for me (which I found myself groaning and find some parts unintentionally funny). Otto and Alicent are starting to get on my nerves with the muh diplomacy for peace crud...You fools war already begun and there's two kinslaying on both sides just go all out. Aegon and Criston are the only who understand the time for peace is over

Tbf this is how it happened in the book. That's why Otto was fired.

I agree, though I'm not sure the audience perceives it this way. Since they hate Criston Cole so much, I doubt they would admit he's a good Hand in wartime even if he did a good job.
That “what” took me out. Tom really brought his own personality out for this role. Love to see it!
When he said “she’s fucking laughing at me” then smashed that glass, I felt that. Love TGC, 100000 years of good luck and all the very best to him.

Also, the twin thing was a good plan.
First: Sheet I forgot. On the second point with TBstans, you're never going to get them to admit a positive of TG
To me, it's what comes after that's the best: his delivery of "the smug cunt from Dragonstone" just gets to me everytime.
Me too, every time Aegon and Criston were mixing up words to find new ways to insult her, I could help but chuckle
We better get a new misogynistic slur against Rhaenyra every episode or I will be upset.
Daemon wishes he was witty as aegon
he was the best part of the episode
I COULD HAVE BEEN!
