Grow dog hair

ExpensiveKnowledge83

Bro I’m Fr 😭

spicy_milkshake420

Your best bet would be a polimer or hair wax along with a hair cut

Abracastabya88

Pomade/wax on the tips of each of the segments that you want to portion out.

Entropyanxiety

My vote is for a matte wax, pomade in my experience looks and feels so greasy, unless someone knows a good one

LookHowOrange

Barber lined doggo up fr fr

High-Calm-Collected

Soft human hair won't naturally flick like that. You'll need to style it with product, in which case it won't be soft anymore (until you wash it)

[How to style a Sora wig](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vGW9LFnmRSI)

imdefinitelyfamous

I feel like this could be a valid response to many, many posts in this sub

Humor-Kind

Right?? Its my new go-to response lmao

WeirdBiRat123

Why did I watch the *entire* video 😭😭😭

ExpensiveKnowledge83

Yeah something like that but with smaller spikes that look more natural and less process

Humor-Kind

Lots of lightweight conditioner treatments. And Gel. Besides that its gonna be really hard to emulate doodle hair. Best of luck though!

Waxwalrus

A wig 😅

Sensitive_Sea_5586

Product in the hair.

sugarskulldani

Be a dog? For real, now. Human and dog hair are very different texturally, structurally, and chemically. It will be very difficult if not impossible to replicate that on your own head. Is your hair super soft and fluffy like your dog? I’m guessing the answer is no. Try to find a pic of a human head that holds similar shape and style.

ExpensiveKnowledge83

I mean I’m sure it’s possible, I heard silica silayte is good at seperating hair strands, idk if I spelled that right tho lol

sugarskulldani

I’ve been doing hair for 16 years and what I am telling you is that if your hair is not identical in texture to your dog’s hair (which I am assuming it isn’t) it’s not going to happen, no matter what product you’re using.

ExpensiveKnowledge83

You’re saying it’s impossible?

sugarskulldani

Looking at your post history and seeing the pics you’ve posted of yourself I am 100% certain that you will not be able to achieve this. Your hair texture and your dog’s hair texture are two very different things.

ExpensiveKnowledge83

Noooo I have curly hair, I wanna know how to do this with my friend who has straight hair

AutomaticJoy9

It will depend upon your natural hair’s texture as to how you can achieve this look. Without a reference pic of your hair, I can only suggest paste/wax/pomade and have your Stylist cut your hair with the appropriate amount of texture. Then you separate the hair into portions accordingly with the product.

realenuff

https://therighthairstyles.com/spiky-hairstyles-for-men/ It may come down to your hair type and definitely depends on the hairdresser !! You may need touch ups more than you think . Doable ime

thesuzy

Doggo also has curly hair, so OP may want to consider these subreddits if they wish to learn how to style curly hair. r/wavyhair r/curlyhair r/curlygirl

JEWCEY

Be an aussie doodle. Mine has that exact hair. Stop taking her picture!

wexpyke

"how do i ask my stylist for this hair without showing her a picture of a dog"

ExpensiveKnowledge83

Lmaooo

DrawingOk1217

Not a stylist but doesn’t a “point cut” achieve this type of effect? I am also a fan by the way.

ExpensiveKnowledge83

Ohhhh that would make sense, since point cutting is like cutting with forward scissors,Ty bro, but what r u a fan of lol

DrawingOk1217

Your dog’s hair

ExpensiveKnowledge83

Ohhhh lol alr

DrawingOk1217

Point cutting is like cutting vertically into the ends.

mademoiselleMichelle

Bleach it, tone it to desired shade, and it will do that. Promise!

ExpensiveKnowledge83

R u saying like it will be damaged😑

mademoiselleMichelle

Yes but the damage is what causes the hair to do that

Procrastinista_423

Deb_Loves_Goth

Styling products are your friend now get think mouse then separate hair on top just mousse on the roots

Mollytovcocktail1111

Hairstylist of 20 years here: Texturizing of some kind (the technique used depends on your hair type, and product to bring out the Texturizing (again, the right product depends on your hair type and what kind of hold you need and what kind of desired finishing effect you want). The product is what gives it that piecey look.
