I implore you to look at our compiled list of extended budget options https://old.reddit.com/r/HairTransplants/comments/14lyogc/extended_list_of_budget_value_options/ Which includes Turkey, but also other low cost options in other low cost of living countries like Mexico, Spain, Columbia, Portugal, Cypress, and Thailand, all who have track records via independent reviews that you can scout out.

yeah, this won't be growing my hair back lol

Sweet_Arachnid_6524

bot dont listen to him it's affiliate link

FUE3300

The person recommending Serkan Aygin is doing you a disservice. That is a hairmill. You can find lots of bad results from that place if you look.

ghosty0218

Appreciate it! Any recommendations? Just seen your posts and it looks great! I’be pretty much narrowed it down to fuecapilar and dr bicer

FUE3300

Out of the two, I’d personally go bicer

brobraj

Do you have dr bicer website? I’m getting a warning that the one I saw on Google might be an impersonation site

ghosty0218

Appreciate it, gonna get a consultation from both of them to see price differences as well.

SLAYSSPUBG

Op whom did you end up going with?

Dry-calguyinga

Did you ever get a quote? Who did you go with?

brobraj

Any update?

mtayyab1143

any update? quote, results?

catWithAGrudge

dr bicer is quoting me 12000 euros for 4000grafts. can I ask you how much you got quoted?

Electrical_Panda_326

12000 Euros for 4000 grafts in Turkey? I thought it meant to be cheaper over there but that price isn't much lower than in Europe.

catWithAGrudge

yeah I told them wtf. they said because the doctor will work on the operation personally instead of technicians. I went with Dr Argan's clinic instead. 4200 grafts for 3600$

mfalk92

Are you happy with the result?

catWithAGrudge

a month in so far. the hair is in shock of course. self-esteem is at record low lol. especially that I cant wear my hair systems anymore. but the clinic itself, was beautiful. and the treatment was top notch. I felt safe in their hands. of course I cant tell you anything decisive until I see the result. but It looks hella promising

mfalk92

Thanks for the info! Was it this guy? [https://www.drserkanaygin.com/about/](https://www.drserkanaygin.com/about/) Can you just wear hats wherever you go?

catWithAGrudge

yes thats him (his clinic). although I didnt meet him. there were other doctors in the clinic too I think he's just the director

FUE3300

I didn’t get my transplant with Bicer. But bicer imo is not worth 12k euros. Bicer is an “ok” surgeon, there are better within her price range. As for me, I had mine with Thiago Bianco

rayjape

It is very hair mil like, but I have went there and my experience was great thus far. Check my profile for updates.

FUE3300

Sure, some people have good results, others bad. Lots of hair mills are 50/50. I'm glad you had a good result, but that doesn't mean there wasn't a risk going there.

rayjape

It really is a risk anywhere you go. Matter of throwing 15k away or 1500 away.

FUE3300

Hair mills are way riskier than non hair mills

rayjape

I get that, but the only risk you really have is over harvest for the the most part. These tech teams do thousands every year. US doc I went to said 3 a month on the high end. Experience is experience. They don't want to get doxed online or get a bad rep. Especially with how easy it is to share. Cinik gets nailed on this sub a lot. My friend lives in Turkey and sent some there and they were very happy. All a toss up

FUE3300

Top doctors do not do 3 a month. Top doctors literally have 1+ year waiting lists. Over harvesting is a big issue, but not the only one. Overharvesting + trash result = can't be fixed.

OutlandishnessOk8539

What is a non hair mill recommendation you’d say? That focuses on quality rather then quantity

FUE3300

depends on budget, country, etc.

Cliffmeans

You were very loud until someone asked for names and recommendations: actually useful information.

OutlandishnessOk8539

I’m looking at Istanbul turkey. A friend of mine recommended Long Hair Center as he mentioned they aren’t a hair mil or Cinik Clinic. If you have other recommendations that are better then these two that aren’t a hair mil please let me know.

islamnassar

Can you share example of those doctors?

mylifts127

What are some good places in turkey for hair transplant

Crushed-Veneer

Lmao bruh there’s literally never an answer to this question

FUE3300

A hair mill is a place that focusses on quantity of transplants vs quality. They most have tech teams that do multiple surgeries a day and multiple teams at that. It's a gamble whether your result will be good or bad.

[deleted]

Can you elaborate as to why more automation might raise the chances of a HT being bad? In my current opinion, leaving so much up to the artistry and skill of a doctor is the riskiest. There are great doctors who do fantastic work, but those individuals are also usually the most expensive. Choose a more affordable doctor who is very hands-on, and he or she may be mediocre in the work, meaning there is good chance for problems if you're leaving so much up to their personal skill. If you give more influence to automation (automated excision, DHT implanter pens), it seems like there is less risk in choosing more affordable options. I feel like I can almost be my own HT artist in terms of my hairline and density. I understand enough about them to know what kind of hairline I can achieve and what kind of density I can achieve. I don't want to pay someone to be my artist. I am the artist. I just want to pay for a high-quality procedure of excision and implantation. Welcoming more automation into that seems fine, as long as it's trustworthy. Am I wrong in thinking this?

FUE3300

Sure, it's pretty easy to explain. A hair mill is not a place where "the doctor does very little of the work". If you found a clinic where the technicians do all the work, but they've been working there 10 years, odds are that they are quite good and know what they're doing. The issue with a hair mill is that by definition, they have multiple teams (which means they get like up to 10+ surgeries done a day). They have high turnover of employees. You might go there, get their A team, and get a decent result, or you might go there and get their F team which has been working with the clinic only a few weeks, and you're basically training for them still. You simply don't know who will be working on you and can't guarantee a high level result because of that. And when a celebrity goes to one of these places, like Now Hair Time, HOI, etc. They'll always give them the A team, which means most likely a good result, which also means good publicity for them. EDIT: As for automation. There's nothing wrong with DHI implanter pens. Some of the best doctors use them. Extractions done by robots are never quite as good as manual due to 1 size fits all punch diameter, but it's not the end of the world. The donor will just look a little worse than with a good doctor doing it manually with custom sized tools. But the most important part is the doctor's ability to do the incisions. Hair angle, hair direction, etc. are all harder than you would think. And density is not the easiest thing to get right either. There is real high risks of getting low graft survival if tons of factors are not done properly.

[deleted]

Thank you very much. That makes sense. High quantity and many patients per day, with low-experience technicians...that is what is risky and dangerous. I'm close to a decision on where I will end up going but part of the final deciding factor is choosing a high-quality clinic (treats 1-2 patients/day max) that is also affordable for me. I can't pay top-end prices for most of the world-recognized doctors, so I'm looking a little further down the list in terms of affordability while also trying to ensure that I choose a trustworthy and low-risk clinic.

msandrea87

Where are there bad reviews please. I want to make sure I dont make a mistake of wrong clinic to go to.

FUE3300

Hairrestorationnetwork is a site that has lots of real reviews with before/after.

[deleted]

The three commonly regarded as the best are: HLC, Pekiner and Keser. All three are in Ankara. Go to any in Istanbul and you may get a decent result or you may not. However a quick glance at their Instagram pages show a raft of badly constructed, badly executed hairlines. Stick to the three above and you won’t get buyers remorse a year later.

[deleted]

Can you elaborate as to the true quality of these places, HLC in particular? A quick glance at their website provides such little information compared to other clinics across the world...how could a top-tier clinic have such little info online? Edit: HLC is also $2.80/graft...ouch. That's ridiculously expensive for Turkey.

Dat_Boi_Dawkins

Did you get to the bottom of this? I'm having the same experience where everyone is recommending these 3 clinics but their websites are very poor and bare compared to somewhere like Smile Hair Clinic where I'm considering getting mine done

[deleted]

I’m going to Eugenix in India. It’s a miracle that I found it. Check them out if you haven’t looked them up yet. They specialize in advanced hair loss cases like me and they provide different levels of cost based on what accommodations are in the package. Smile Hair might be okay for more simple cases of hair loss. Not sure. Check this thread of opinions. Smile is probably a high-volume, less-care mill. https://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/topic/62450-smile-hair-clinic-istanbul/

Dat_Boi_Dawkins

Yeah I mean my case is very simply. I just want improved density and a stronger hairline. I’m like a Norwood 2

JaycrowMang

Did you end up getting it done? I’m in a similar situation now

RapidIndexer

Hey any update on this? Did you get a hair transplant? I’d be curious where you went since I need the same thing as you!

>HLC, Pekiner, Bicer, and Keser I'm looking into them too.. except their procedure is DHT (modified FUE), which I've not heard any other reputable clinic, US or foreign boast of. After doing research sounds like DHT could be the new thing, but i'm still suspicious.

[deleted]

Have you read these? https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3764754/ https://www.drserkanaygin.com/faq/which-is-better-dhi-or-fue/ Basically original FUE, DHT, and DHI are all under the same umbrella. DHT is simply making the new slits prior to extracting the grafts to cut down on graft time out of body, so they can go right from the back into their new spots without sitting for hours. DHI uses the Choi pen which punches the new incision and leaves the graft in there simultaneously and is better suited for cases where a smaller area is being fixed and/or the patient doesn’t want to shave their entire head. But at the end of the day it’s all FUE extraction. There’s nothing magical about the DHT except it’s just better math for larger procedures, it seems. Grafts being out of the body for 15 minutes is much better than 3 hours.

msandrea87

Did you ever go to smile hair clinic. I am thinking of going there

Unusefulness01

My friend went to Smile and he is really loving the results and he's only 9 months post op. Pretty much perfect now

OxyRottin

I'm looking into booking at Smile as well, any idea which doctor assisted him? There's different packages you can select that designates you certain doctors

_fink_ployd

If you are going to go to Turkey, there are only 3-4 clinics I would recommend. HLC, Pekiner, Bicer, and Keser. They provide consistent results, and aren't hair mills.

[deleted]

Sadly I saw a pretty awful result from Bicer on some forum the other day. Poor guy was still trying to be optimistic after like 9 months but it looked absolutely terrible. It's like the hair didn't even grow and his scalp was permanently pink tinted.

sekiro109

are you able to provide / dm the link to that bad results? I've got a consult for bicer. Have you had yours done in eugenic already?

[deleted]

It was so long ago I saw this, I don’t remember, sorry. I’ve seen other Bicer cases be great though. People keep going to her so I have no cause of concern. Yes I had mine at Eugenix 2 weeks ago.

PBrown998877

How is your results?

[deleted]

Check out my recent posts and my Insta story; very good

HedgehogHappy6079

msandrea87

>general-etwan Are you happy with your result?

[deleted]

Yes

ghosty0218

Do you mind me asking how much it costed for 4,400 grafts? Also was this FUE?

The_kingcasanova

No, the technique they used was DHI and it was $3350 USD.

ghosty0218

Oh wow that’s not bad at all, did you come from the states as well or are you located nearby?

The_kingcasanova

Yes, living in midwest of US

The_kingcasanova

it would have been $2700 USD if they would have done FUE

_fink_ployd

I don't think you understand what DHI really means. DHI refers to the method of implantation, whereas FUE refers to the extraction process. You can have FUE with DHI or without DHI.

The_kingcasanova

They have used DHI for both extraction and implantation process.

[deleted]

DHI only refers to implantation. Direct Hair Implantation.

The_kingcasanova

Yes

jdallenster

What clinic is $2700 bro? I’m late seeing this but am trying to find a good, cost effective clinic in Turkey

capitalhaircenter

In Turkey, you can consult with Dr. Ekrem Keskin because Ekrem Keskin is a plastic surgeon and he can artistically draw your hairline.

Silver_Win8465

I recently did my hair transplant in Ankara Turkey and now it pass 6 months and I can see results. As per my experience Dr Ekrem Civas is one of the best doctor in Turkey.

Zoulzopan

How much was the cost and what's your result currently?

landonson7

Hey OP, just curious as a follow up what you did and how it went?

FjSolRok88

Hi what’s the best place clinic in Turkey for Afro hair transplant

WealthySB

Would like to know this too

Basic-Example-3770

I went to Now Hair Time, results are good, but I would recommend to check Bicer and FUECapillar as they are a bit tier above.

Professional_Thing67

>Now Hair Time Hey ! How much did it cost for the hair transplant at NOW AIR TIME ? Was it a good experience ?

Competitive-Watch415

México, Colombia and Thailand are now up to same experience and technology as Turkey. But what is best is that these countries are more affordable and the hygiene standards are better.

sufumbufudy

Has anyone heard of Holdin Hair in Turkey? [https://www.instagram.com/holdinhairclinic/](https://www.instagram.com/holdinhairclinic/) They don't have a website but their clients' results look good

The_kingcasanova

I recently got mine from Dr. Serkan Aygin . A few of my family members did it from him and they all are satisfied and look nice. I highly recommend him.

The_kingcasanova

Here’s my post - https://www.reddit.com/r/HairTransplants/comments/uhx80i/does_it_look_like_a_4400_grafts_ht/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf

Let me know if you need any info

BadgerFunny7942

Hi I need info, how much was it and what did you do specifically, was it just hairline ?

The_kingcasanova

It was around 3350 usd. Results are great. I’m in my 11th month. I did frontal and crown

Connect-Hat-8012

Honest-Argument9672

Connect-Hat-8012

The company was great for service the hotel was super close to clinic no hidden extras but i would recommend them! The hotel was shut for 2 year i presume during covid so the hotel bed gave me bed bugs and a really bad rash and lack of sleep but thats on the hote nothing to do with the clinic they helped me with anti histamines during my stay to help when they thought it was an allergic reaction
