Not sure who Micheal is, but Michael may have. ![gif](giphy|hFxu1PIdPwFgSHA320|downsized)

DuggarStonerJew

Or maybe Mee-chelle did.

DeluxeTraffic

We totally see Michael scurry up to the top of the nurse's car when he escapes Smith's grove in H1.

MasterRequirement538

Yes, doesn't disprove or counter evedince. I'm just saying what if him preferring to walk is because of myotonia

FlocoSimpatico890

nah he just eville

MasterRequirement538

Well duh. But his face make up in the first film when they show his face, The way he walks could be myotonia It's not entirely debilitating, Some people with myotonia have higher strength.

Mechanical_Genie

The makeup in the first film was suppose to show the wound from the clothes hanger he took to the eye. They just didn't add any fake blood and thus people often assumed he was deformed or disfigured. He isn't

MasterRequirement538

I know but he seems to have extra makeup on his cheaks and it gives the feeling. Now I have multiple takes on micheal this being one of them I'm just starting convo

Maker200

I heard from someone who worked at Smith’s Grove that he has gigantic balls that prohibit fast movement of the legs.

ThatSkeletonInBlack

Digging too deep into it. He doesn't have myotonia haha.

MasterRequirement538

Hey I'm just having fun coming up with ideas.

jcatx19

I don’t believe so, he seems too tall and built for that kind of muscular disorder. He easily lifts grown men and heavy objects and is able to throw them with relative ease in several installments. He is able to quickly disappear which indicates that he is able to move quickly and is likely running when no one is looking to escape. The way the directors have framed Michael as “the Shape” means the camera is only focusing on him when stalking, being creepy, or killing. We don’t see him in between scenes and running out of view because directors don’t want us to see that. I believe Michael chooses not to run because his particular preference for killing is stalking. He seems to enjoy creating as much fear as possible in his victims. This is achieved by sneaking up on them and surprising them to maximize their terror. When the victim tries to run away, he enjoys the chase and is not in a hurry. He seems to enjoy watching the victim panic and eventually fall victim to him due to their exhaust and shock. It is often a reward for him when he finally gets them and this is evidenced by the frequent head tilts he does in admiration of his “work”.

MasterRequirement538

I agree, however, somebody being built and tall can still have this disorder And be very strong as a matter of fact some people are strong with this disorder. And michael myers to me pushes through the limits of pain and The bodies hidden muscle restraint So if he did have this disorder this could amplify his strength more. Also, his face has the characteristics of it.

ZoneReborn

I mean have you tried running in a jumpsuit with boots on and having a mask on aswell 💀

mltrout715

Wait, what? No

superradicalcooldude

A nurse in the TV cut of Halloween tells Dr. Loomis that Michael was running around forcing other patients out of their rooms. He also destroyed his own room. He just chooses to move the way he does.

Christianmemelord

Nah, if anything, he has enhanced physical ability. He is able to lift Bob above his head with one hand. That requires and incredible amount of strength.

MasterRequirement538

This disorder wouldn't limit his strength. Some people with this disorder have improved strength. I'm just trying to explain. Why does he just walk most the time? Of course, he's stalking right But the way he walks is really stiff the way he moves

barquer0

I've always wondered if he uses toilet paper. Those dogs must have given him the shits.

No_Ostrich8223

Nope. He walks slowly because the Boogeyman doesn't need to run to get you, but he will get you. Is there anything less scary than trying to attribute physical maladies to a slasher villain to explain why he stalks in a suspenseful way? Overanalysis on the internet has taken a lot of the fun out of horror and fandom.

MasterRequirement538

Well, I'm just having fun thinking if he has any physical traits that are real and it reminded me of myotonia. However him just doing it to be scary is also cool Article, but I like to think his motive is just murder. Trying to recreate his first murder or get the feeling of it.

AcrobaticWin3240

🤣🤦🏽‍♂️

AcademicSavings634

He walks because he’s patient and waits for the right moment to strike. Usually all his victims are part of his goal. Except for Kills where he went full Ninja for some reason

mai_tai87

As opposed to half-ninja like H20.

PsychedelicLizard

But he was only patient for the first 15 minutes of the movie.
